I'm Not An Option

I'm Not An Option

Chapter one: his dark gaze

Prologue

I run as fast as I can while tears slipped over me, I couldn't continue with this fake but suddenly some hands caught my hips making me hit a hard chest where I was breathing hard I said- leave me alone, it was just a game for you, you will regret what you did to me- I yelled hitting his chest while he was just silent looking at me through those green eyes Suddenly he grabbed me by the wrists and stuck his mouth close to my ear saying- it was never my intention to make you look like an option, but I had no other choice..

Chapter one

I'm Hazel Miller and the truth is I'm not very pretty like the other girls, you can say I'm normal, my parents are businessmen and they spend almost every day traveling and send me money every weekend so I don't miss anything I'm not rich or poor, I'm just from a normal economy, although I don't have the company of my parents, I know they do it for my own good.

Everything was going well for now, until a new neighbor arrived in front of my house, for now I don't like any of the introductions or welcomes and that is why I avoid running into them and even more so with their son who apparently does not have a friendly face, my avoidance with them everything was going well until my parents arrived and they realized the new neighbors, the worst thing was they were planning a visit to them with me God save me because I am not a sociable person.

- Daughter come down now\, we have to go welcome the new neighbors - my mother said even with an angry look when she found out that in these past weeks they arrived and they were not there\, I didn't even say hello or hello making them my family looks rude.

But why was the welcome so necessary? -I'm downstairs- I came down dressed in a simple sweater and with some simple loose black pants, my mother looked at me out of the corner of her eye and shook her head saying - are you going to go dressed like this? - I look again with disapproval- go change for some dresses that we bought you but I have never seen you wear one, just for this occasion you should wear one so as not to look bad in front of the new neighbors- my mother said with a bossy voice

Please someone kill me I thought before going upstairs again and changing into a white dress that reaches below my knees because I don't like to show more than necessary, I go back downstairs seeing my mother dressed elegantly and my father formally with gifts for the neighbors in his hand, I rolled my eyes and faked a smile as we drove to the house across the street where I had ignored and avoided for a week.

Knock knock…my mother knocked on the door and our new neighbors opened the door, they were more elegant and in their clothes it was obvious that they were rich, with good reason my mother and father wanted a neighborhood friendship with them

- What can I offer you? - Asked the woman who looked at us with a smile

-good afternoon only the neighbors in front of you and well we just wanted to welcome you and sorry for not having given it to you because of our jobs- my father said respectfully while he stretched out his hands to give him our gifts

-oh thank you- I accept friendly-please come in my husband and my son must be inside, she will love to meet you

We passed and saw the house inside with amazement, it seemed more beautiful than outside and if they were definitely rich, then it was time for the presentation and the woman called her husband and her son to come down. My eyes inadvertently slid towards the ladder where a boy with very white skin and paleness with deep green eyes and long black hair and his penetrating gaze was descending when he discovered me looking at him, I don't know but I thought I saw him smiling for a moment but now he was facing mine with his cold gaze.

My parents with theirs introduced themselves and then nudged me to do the same

"I'm Hazel Miller," I said quietly as she looked at everyone a little uncomfortable, the woman realized my discomfort so she told her son-her son, only you are missing.

-Dylan carter a pleasure-she said while he looked at me and shook his hand in respect mode, doubtful I took his hand and he gave me a squeeze smiling at me

"A pleasure as well," I said at the moment when I felt his cold hands.
