Chapter Six

"Tomorrow is a Saturday right Chim?" Taehyung asked as they both lay on the hard floor facing each other since there was no furniture in the room.

"Yes, why?" Jimin asked back looking into his eyes making Taehyung stare at the wall behind him, too scared his heart would leap out of his chest if he stares right back.

"so we can go look for that bighit school" he answered and Jimin gulped

"actually" he sighed propelling himself on his elbow, his palm on his cheeks "I already found it, I was there today"

"really? how did you find it? " Taehyung asked sitting up so he can look down at Jimin.

"I just followed the smell of success and it lead me there" he answered and smiled teasingly when Taehyung hit his chest playfully.

"Fine then, tomorrow we go get some clothes and food and on Monday we get you registered for Bighit" Taehyung said happy this day had finally come.

"Tae?" Jimin called, staring at Taehyung with different emotions swimming in his eyes and Taehyung swallows as Jimin leans closer to him.

"How can I ever repay you?" he asked using his hand to touch Taehyung's cheek.

"You don't have to" Taehyung laughs leaning into his hand "I know you'd do the same for me"

"of course I would" Jimin assured caressing Taehyung's cheek and for a moment he thought jimin was going to kiss him. He was about to close his eyes when Jimin dropped his hand and turned to face the ceiling with a sigh.

"Thanks Tae, I don't know what I'd do without you" he said before closing his eyes and just like that he was asleep and Taehyung used his hand to fan his face, since he was suddenly feeling too hot.

Taehyung smiled at him, he had spent all his life with Jimin yet his ability to sleep immediately he closes his eyes never fails to amuse him and sometimes he wishes he was like that too.

he sighs to himself laying down to face the ceiling like Jimin, the event that happened earlier in the day rushed back to him and pink dusted his cheeks, he shakes his head trying to get rid of the memory.

'it's over, I'm never going to see that man again' he thought turning around while using his hands as a pillow.

'I would give my all to stay by your side forever Jimin' he thought before falling into the abyss of darkness.

Early the next morning they woke up with sore muscles from laying on a hard floor but that was something they were used to already. what they weren't used to however, was waking up to a roof over their head.

"It's going to take a while to get used to the fact that we have a house now" Jimin commented once he saw Taehyung awake and Taehyung hummed looking around at the small house.

After a while of lazing around, they both washed up preparing to go out when Taehyung called Jimin.

"here keep it" he said, taking Jimin's hand to place an envelope there.

"just so we don't spend it with the rest" Taehyung said and before he knew it Jimin was hugging him tight, muttering 'thank you' over and over again like a broken record but Taehyung tells him it's alright and that they should go.

once they stepped out, Taehyung took a turn and Jimin followed him.

"where are we going to?" Jimin asked as Taehyung takes another turn.

"to a store I saw yesterday, they sell their stuffs cheap, their clothes second hand and cheap and most of them look new and are way more cheaper than the originals" Taehyung told him.

"Don't worry Tae, once I become a celebrity, I'll buy you all the expensive stuffs" Jimin tells him and Taehyung giggled making Jimin smile at him.

"sure, but for now let's hurry up and get the cheap stuffs, they usually get a lot of customers in the morning who wants to get the best stuffs they can find there" Taehyung said already speed walking away.

"Hey wait for me" Jimin shouted jogging to catch up with him which only made Taehyung laugh as he tried to run faster so jimin wouldn't catch up with him but he eventually did, he grabbed Taehyung's hand pulling him so he could run faster.

by the time they reached the store, they were out of breath and Taehyung had to place his hands on his knee so he could regain his strength while Jimin laughs at him for being less athletic.

"Shut up" Taehyung said slapping Jimin's chest as he passes him to get into the store, huffing when he hears Jimin's loud laugh from behind him.

He grabs a cart before moving around to place what he thinks they need inside the cart.

he puts toothbrushes, toothpaste, sponge, bath soaps and many other bathroom needs before moving to the food section.

"Here, noodles" Jimin says throwing a pack of noodles inside.

They continue to go from aisle to aisle, picking things that were important, occasionally laughing when they saw something funny, flicking each other head whenever they made fun of other customers in the shop.

Once they finished shopping for their house needs, they moved over to the cloth store, picking out as much clothes as they wanted since they were so cheap.

it was late in the afternoon when they finished shopping and they struggled to hold everything they bought as they walk home since it was too much.

"ow, my hands hurt" Taehyung complains as soon as they got into their house, bringing his hand close to his face to examine the red marks the cheap shopping bags had caused to his palms.

"let me see" Jimin said reaching out to take his hands in his, placing a kiss on both of them as he said

"see, I've kissed it better, it won't hurt again" Taehyung smiled at that, soft pink dusting his cheeks.

"are you hungry Chim? let's go and eat" Taehyung said to hide his beating heart and Jimin immediately agreed.

"I haven't had any food since morning" he groaned " standing up and helping Taehyung stand too before they walked the short distance to the nearest restaurant.

After the meal, they went to get an air mattress and an electric cooker and by the time they got back it was so late and they were tired so they just head to bed not bothering to arrange the things they bought.

The next day was Sunday, Taehyung woke up in a good mood, one reason because for once since they left the orphanage, he slept on a mattress and because he had a roof under his head and was surrounded with the still unpacked shopping bags from yesterday.

He immediately jumped up, tidied the house and put everything in it's place, neatly folded their clothes in a corner of the room.

Once he was satisfied with his work he went into the bathroom to take his bath while Jimin was still sleeping, relishing in the way the warm water made his body feel better after such a long time.

He got out of the bathroom when he was done, dried himself up and dressed up before moving out of the bathroom to see Jimin slowly sitting up.

"good morning Chim" Taehyung greeted

"morning, where are you going to?" Jimin asked when he sees Taehyung putting on his shoes.

"for a walk, wanna come? " Taehyung answered smiling.

"No just go ahead" Jimin said yawning

"okay see you when I get back" Taehyung said before moving out.

Jimin got up and stretched his muscles, glad he slept on something softer than the floor. he moved to the bathroom to brush his teeth but stopped to stare at his reflection he saw on the mirror.

he leaned his hands on the sink, getting closer to the mirror.

"Tomorrow is the day I start attending Bighit" he said to his reflection.

"it's happening way too early but I couldn't be more glad" he continued with a smile before a frown replaces it as he glared at his image.

"you stepped on my pride Jungfuck, and I'm going to make you regret it. from tomorrow prepare for the beginning of your heartburn" Jimin grits out, anger flashing in his eye.

"prepare for war"
