"No, NO!!"

A girl was screaming hopelessly as she watches a kid with a broken leg crawling away from a pitch black creature.

"No please, please, LEAVE HIM ALONE"

*crack*

the creature twisted its neck and turned its head towards the crying girl.....

"AAAGHHH"

"Now, now. Don't cry little one."

*beep* *beep* *beep* *beep* *bee--

*click*

Mary, who was sleeping sweaty on her messy bed, suddenly woke up nine in the morning after hearing mixed sound of alarm clock and a loud scream from her brother, Marcus.

"AAHHH!!"

Mary rushed to get off her bed, opened the bedroom door, and ran downstairs to look for her brother.

"Marcus! MARCUS!" shouted Mary.

She went to the living room and checked beneath their sofas.

"No one here. Oh God, where are you..."

Realized that no one is in the living room, Mary immediately went to the comfort room to check. Suddenly...

"ROAR!!"

A loud noise bursted from a dinosaur Marcus was holding, as he attempted to scare his big sister. Unfortunately, the result was a failure. Looking at his sisters face, Marcus felt a dangerous and dark aura as her sister glances back.

*smack *

Mary slams her knuckle on the top of her brothers head.

"Screaming to wake me up early just for this, seriously." Mary told her brother.

"Hihi, sorry Mary. Wanna play hide and seek?" asked Marcus.

"Sorry Marcus, can't today. Stayed up all night to finish my homework"

"OH COME ON!! You promised yesterday that you'll play with me! You even told me you will play hide and seek, basketball, tag--"

"Okay fine, just one game"

"Hmmmm. No, how 'bout five games of hide and seek"

"Hmm. How about three plus three, divided by six games of hide and seek?"

"I don't quite understand, but LET'S GO!!!"

Mary and Marcus ran up to the room of Marcus as their starting point. Before they start, both of them played rock-paper-scissors to determine who will seek, and Marcus lost.

"Hah, goodluck finding me little dude." Mary told Marcus.

"Eeeeh. Fine then, I'll count faster than usual" replied Marcus.

"Cheaters are losers Marcuuus!" A fading shout of Mary as he ran outside Marcus' room, and went downstairs to hide.

Of all the games of hide and seek they played, Marcus has quite the ability to remember visually all the places Mary hid, but ironically, Marcus isn't quite good at Math. With that being said, Marcus is more or less familiar with all the hiding spots, so Mary decided to find an unusual spot in the house to hide.

With their house quite big, Mary has time to look for her final place to hide before Marcus finds her. So she went to the storage room on the back of the kitchen, and wandered inside, knowing that their parents warned them not to open frequently for there is too much mess inside.

"Woah, this is the mess Mom was telling us?" as she entered the dark storage room, and saw a very well organized cabinets full of old vases and clocks. After minutes of wandering around, Mary seems to have noticed a doorknob in between the clocks. The doorknob was somehow shiny as gold, but has dust and spiderwebs that cover. Mary then, with all her strength, moved the cabinet of clocks so that she can see the whole door.

Mary stares at the door. It was quite bigger than the usual room door. It was covered with spiderwebs mixed with all sorts of dust, making it even recognizable as a door. What cathes Mary's attention is how shiny the doorknob was, as if it was tempting her to open it. So she went.

*tries to open it*

"Seems locked." said Mary.

As Mary tries to open the door several times,

"What the...", she noticed that the door does not have keyholes nor padlocks attached.

*woosh*

A paper suddenly went past from underneath the door and moved across the storage room. The paper has dark red liquid drops, as if it was a blood. Too shocked, Mary stares directly at the paper for a minute while her hand was holding the doorknob.

After some time, Mary finally picked up the paper and noticed that it has words written in a crappy way:

don't cry, little one.......

Mary collapsed.

She fell down on her knees with a fixed face like she just saw a ghost or something. Although she doesn't know why the paper writing affects her too much, she suddenly felt cold on her knees, as if they were refusing to stand up.

*knocks on the door*

"No, please NO!"

The knocking went a little faster, and it became louder as well.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

Mary suddenly went to a heavy breathing, and leaned to a wall.

*door opens*

"Mary? MARY!" shouted Marcus, as he opens the storage room door.

"AHA, I found you in less than five minutes! (actually 20 minutes) what do you think of that? hihi" Marcus bragged as he looks down on his sister staring at him.

"M-Marcus... help."
