Awkward moment

~Yicheng's pov~

Yicheng is in his room showering.

"I finally see you after 5 years..You are still as cute and shy as you used to be when we were young..Do you still remember me?I wonder if she still thinks of me as her childhood sweetheart"

He came out after showering wearing only a towel with wet hairs.

~knock knock~

He goes to open the door thinking that it was his mother.

*End of Yicheng's pov*

~Mei's pov~

I went to Yicheng's room as his mother told me to call him for dinner..She insisted me on staying here and have the dinner with them so I did not refuse.I was kinda nervous but still I knocked the door.

When the door opened the I saw a slim figure and a handsome face wearing a towel..Water was dropping from the wet hairs...

-"What is it?",He asked

I came back to reality and said "Aun..aunt is calling for dinner.."

-"okay I'll be there within five minutes"

-"okay"

He closed the door...

"oh my god what was it😳I saw his figure"

My face became all red.I went to the dining hall.His mother and father were already sitting on the table so I managed to keep a straight face.

He came down after 5 minutes.We finished having our dinner.

I said "Thankyou very much for the meal uncle and aunt..Its getting late I think I should go"

His mother said "Don't worry I have already informed your mother..Yicheng go with her.."

-"ahh..no..no aunt..I can go by myself..our house is not that far..besides it might be too dangerous for him to go outside now"

Yicheng interrupted and said,"its okay lets go"

His mother gave a smile and said good night..

-"good night aunt,good night uncle"

After we got out of his home,it was a complete awkward silence.Neither me nor him were talking.I reached and open the gate..I turned back and said in a low tone enough for him to hear,"good night".

He looked at me and greeted me as well..

~Yicheng's pov~

We got out of our house and walked towards her home.I wanted to talk to her but I did not know how to start a conversation..she looked so sweet while walking in silence.Her long black hairs made her look more pretty.I remember she had this natural straight hair since young.

I stopped and she opened the gate.She looked back at me and wished me good night.I wished her back.We were completely like strangers.She entered her house.

I wonder if she really forgot about our childhood days.We were so playful and always stayed together.But now we are completely different from what we used to be.

I hope we can be back as what we used to be.
