The Smith family’s living room is decorated with balloons, streamers, and a large banner reading “Happy 20th Birthday, Carlyne!”. Only family her mother and father was present there. Carlyne stands in the center, looking radiant in a dress she picked for the occasion.

Carlyne wasn't a social person. Furthermore, she didn't have many friends. She only celebrates her birthday with his family because she is not such a birthday loving person. She always cut the cake at home just with his family and spent her whole day in her room

Today is my birthday. As always dad arranged my birthday cake and decorations. I wasn't feeling so happy it's not like I don't like my birthday but today as I became 20 I don't know why I'm feeling weird having a stranger feeling about this

I was lost in my thoughts when dad told me, to make a wish. After that what mom said wasn't new for me she is always like this. Her behavior toward me is unpredictable she never talked to me as a mother should, she never asks me what is going on in my like. She doesn't even talk to me unless I talk. It's not like she hates me. A mother can't hate her child or am I wrong?

I wished for their happiness and cut the cake I was about to feed dad, but mom left irrItated. I told dad to go behind her as I don't want here to get upset. it always happens like this that's why I Stop celebrating my birthday. I don't know why mom behaves like this to me. I'm her daughter, and she treats me like an outsider.

I went inside my room thinking what always happens on my birthday when I was five when mom didn't become a part of my birthday and said she is not feeling well. Slowly I lost interest on my birthday so stop celebrating it with anyone.
