Chapter 2: Cute Human

Charles was confused about what Adrian told him. Somehow, Charles keep thinking of what Adrian was trying to say to him.

'I don't understand why he wanted me to be his brother or more than that? What is he trying to say... I really don't understand him. Am I misunderstanding something? Anyway... He said he wanted me to meet his family... I'm so scared. I don't know what to say or do. Sigh, I hope I don't screw things up.'

He followed him Adrian to where the North side of the castle. 'Why'd he bring me here? It's a damn good palace.' Adrian notice Charles was zoning out. "Hey, it'll be fine. Just relax, hm'kay?" Charles nodded he's head and followed Adrian.

They reach a door. Adrian opened the door to where his family were. Charles somehow felt embarrassed, shy 'cause he never seen people outside. Or talked to people before. "Ahh!! My dear sweet son is finally here. And... Who might this kid be?"

A stranger ask and looked towards Charles. He felt embarrassed and he hide behind Rian. Adrian chuckle and pulled Charles gentle. "This is... Charlie South and I bring him home 'cause his homeless..."

'Oh yeahh?? I'm not homeless! You get me out from the orphanage, you moron!' Charles thought to himself. He was kinda pissed off of what Adrian said.

"Oh dear, why didn't you told me that this poor kid is homeless..." the mother felt sad that Charlie is poor and helpless human. "It's okay dear, you're safe here." Unfortunately, they are vampires. A weak human and the blood suckers.

Charles can't say anything 'cause he felt uncomfortable. He was shivering 'cause of the cold air around them. Adrian seems to notice that the kid is cold like ice. "I should probably get him some warm clothes." Adrian say and his mother give them the permission to leave.

They walked through all the halls and arrived to a cellar door. Goosebumps, Charles felt them. He's scared, he don't know what inside or what behind the cellar door. "Don't be afraid, lil' guy. It's just a nice room." Adrian reassure Charles that there's no harmful creature or object that could hurt him.

They enter the room and surprisingly, the room is super clean and neat. Charles couldn't even describe how pleasant he is. "Wow, how awesome this room is." Charles remarks. He was in awe. He couldn't explain how happy he is. "You're right... I-I shouldn't be scared." Charles felt tears dropping from his eyes. He was so happy that he can't control his tears. Adrian pat him and smile nicely. Charles turned red and looked away.

"So, you like this room, hmm?" Adrian teased the little kid. Charles just nodded, not wanting to answer. He looked around and touched every corner of the room. Adrian just looked at him with a smile on his face. "So... Are you, somehow, hungry?" asked Adrian. Charles looked back and simply nodded. "Okay... Hurry and change into think clothes and come outside."

"Okay..." Charles replayed and starts changing into nice clothes. Adrian went outside to give the little guy some privacy. Charles feeling happy that he got a family. Well, Adrian's intention is to get a blood partner. And ended up to Charlie. Charles didn't know that Adrian is a vampire and Adrian make him he's blood partner.

Then, Charles was done changing into some clothes. He went outside and go near Adrian. He stood in front of him and smile. Adrian notice his presence and he looked up. He was mesmerized by how cute Charlie is. He couldn't even take his eyes off of him.

"Umm... So, ahh... I-I, is it okay...?" asked Charles, feeling embarrassed. Adrian looked at him, can't speak. "H-hey, d-don't stare at me like that..." Charles snap him from reality. Adrian smiled and pat him gently.

"You look stunning...!" Adrian compliments and keep patting Charles. Charles just smile and his cheeks turned red. "Let's go..." ask Adrian and Charles just nodded his head. Then, they walked through the halls, to the dining room. Adrian already reserved a sit for him and Charles.

They sat on the chair and the servants put food on the table. Technically, Adrian watch him eat. "Hmm... You don't want to eat...?" asked Charles. Adrian smiled and eat with him even though there's some ingredients that vampires aren't allowed to eat. So, he just bear with it so the little guy won't suspect him.

Every time Adrian eats the food that aren't allowed to eat, he felt hot inside and his burning up. Charles looked at him with curiosity. Adrian give him a smile... Don't want to scare the little guy. "Are you okay?" innocently, Charles asked him.

Adrian couldn't really help but stare at him and flushed. "Y-yeah, I'm fine..." Adrian reassure him and Charlie nodded his head, and he continued eating his food. Adrian thought to himself; 'Gosh, why should he be so cute?' Adrian keep daydreaming, he didn't notice that Charles was staring at him with his brown eyes. "Hmm?? Is there something on my face?" he asked.

"A-ahh, no... Nothing, hehe." Charles blushed and stood up, he went to wash up.

"Sigh... Oh dear cousin, you wouldn't want your little human to be eaten, do you?" a guy asked with a grin. Adrian is now burning in anger. "What will the dominant vampires think if they find out that you're taken a human here, hmm?" the guy teases Adrian more and more. His anger grew and almost attack the guy in front of him.

"Will you leave now?!" Adrian shout and it made the other smirk. The guy walked towards him and touches him. Adrian felt disgust and back off a little.

"No..." the guy responded. "You looked at him like a lover... Why can't I?" the guy touches him more but, Adrian stopped him from going further.

"Are you out of your damn mind, Dylan!" Adrian shouted and throw Dylan's hand away from him. "We're blood related and you don't even have shame...!" Anger get the best of Adrian. Dylan did not want to give up

"I don't even fvcking care if we're blood related. All I want is you, Adrian. I want you!" Dylan grab Adrian's hand and didn't let go. "I want you... Can't you see!?"

Adrian had enough of this and slap Dylan on the face. "You fcker. You really don't have shame." Adrian want to end this conversation so... "I already have a lover!" then, he walked out, leaving Dylan broken.

Then, laughter can be heard throughout the corridor. Dylan laughed crazily. "If your lover is that human, then... Haha, he will die. I can't have you by myself, well... I will do everything that he can't have you, too." he then laughed more and more.
