Magic vs. Monster

"I think it's your huge mistake attacking our palace, you punks!" said Daichi as he let out a burst of magical power hitting two of the raiders down. "We are the most powerful onmyouji! You have strong guts and courage to come here and attack us."

- Daichi, 1st brother, a deserving and born to be leader. He'll soon inherit the title of the ruler of our palace.

"Daichi-chan is right! You better get home now. Arghhhh!" Ren-chan said then he immediately attacked the hoodlums with a pair of blades in each of his hands.

- Ren, 8th brother, he's always been so nosy of himself but he's really good at mastering magical weaponry. Bad guys must not mess with him but, argh, his attitude annoys me.

It's a mess fighting with these nine possessed outsiders. Their eyes are dark as of a bloodshot. Veins are almost bursting beneath their skin of red in color. Circle purple marks cover their bodies seems like they were sucked.

"Akio! Itsuo! Make it fast summoning Ibaraki Doji. These insane people keeps on reviving themselves. All guards are down and we need back up as quick as possible!" Daichi said after seeing the two men reviving again after he put them down.

"GIVE US THE SEIMEI UMBRELLA! THAT THING MUST BE DESTROYED!!!" said those thugs in sync with a loud demonic voice.

"Kagura-chan!" Tadashi called me from the corner where he is hiding.

I went to approach him and asked, "What happened, Tadashi-kun? Are you alright?"

"Hai, onee-chan. I think those guys are possessed by Akkorokamui, the octopus monster. You see those tentacle marks on their skins? And there are nine of them. Eight of them are its tentacles and one of them must be the head and the controller." I looked at those goons who are fighting my brothers. I think Tadashi is right. "You must kill the one that is the mind of the monster so they won't resurrect again and you'll be able to defeat it." My mind is now enlightened and I'm ready to fight with my older brothers.

"Onee-chan, I brought you this. You should use it to defeat that ugly monster. You can do it, onee-chan!" Hinata said and he lend me the Seimei umbrella.

"Thanks, you two." I pat their heads then asked them to hide again.

I stood up and looked at the Seimei umbrella. I can feel it's power. It travels inside in each part of my body. I've never felt so strong before. It's like my hands bond with the handle.

I opened the umbrella and looked at the monster. I must banish you.

Knock, knock, knock.

The three of us faced the door until we saw it opens.

A guard is catching his breath who must be tired of running to us. He said, "Raiders at the gates! Your majesty, please hide in a safe place and we'll protect you."

"Yes, thank you." I said and the three of us got alarmed so I instantly guided my two little brothers in a place where they can hide.

"Tadashi and Hinata, please stay here for you safety. I'll go help them on fighting the bad guys. Don't be impulsive with your actions." I kissed their foreheads.

"Take care, onee-chan!" they said and I started to head to the entrance gate.

Running with a speed of a fast moving wind, I suddenly bumped into one of my brothers. It is Itsuo.

- Itsuo, 4th brother, he likes crafts, crafts and crafts. He's the one making us weapons, instruments and other stuff that can be useful for us in times of battle or even rituals.

"Sumimasen, Itsuo-chan. Where are you headed?" I asked.

"It's okay, little sister. I hope you're fine. Daichi-chan commanded me to get instruments for summoning a shikigami. We need a shikigami to fight with us because those raiders are no humans, they're demonic. I must go now. See you there." He ran as fast as he can and so did I.

"Aaaaaaaaahh!" said one of our guards as he was thrown to air by one of the attackers.

Daichi, Akio and Ren are there battling the invaders, too. It's an onslaught in here. Seems like the opponents are too strong.

Itsuo-kun has also arrives carrying some of his own made crafts for summoning shikigamis. He sets them up and Akio-kun came to help him for the summoning.

"Itsuo-kun!" I yelled ands suggested, "We should summon Ibaraki Doji."

"Hai, Kagura-kun!" he said and still focus on summoning

- present -

A razor-rimmed hat slashes swiftly to the air cutting one of the raiders' head off. The hat stops and another one of my older brothers rises under it to retrieve the hat again on his head.

"Is the party over?" he said with a smirk painted on his face. He kicked his right leg so high hitting another bad guy.

- Katsuki, 7th brother, he trains and works hard to be the onmyouji master. He's the greatest in close combat style. He has a weapon of a razor-rimmed hat crafted by Itsuo.

"Katsuki-chan! I'm glad you have come." I said as I throw my umbrella to our enemies. I was able to slay one of them but it still made to revive itself.

"Not yet done, Katsu'ki-ddo'. Stop showing off. You can't just boast that you've defeated two of them. Look at them reviving!" said Daichi-chan.

"Onii-chan! We should kill the one who is the head or manipulator because that is the monster Akkorokamui!" I told them what Tadashi said to me.

In a split second, a ball of dark magic power landed from above hitting the monster. Some of them splintered to the ground but still not all of them. All nine of them revive again.

"We have made it! Haha!" Akio said proudly and all of us looked up above.

- Akio, 3rd brother, business and negotiations are his thing. He actually owns a land of his own for his agricultural business. Let's just say it's his happiness.

Then we saw the summoned shikigami. It has burning aura covering his body of a strong man-like creature. It has claws of a dragon that are fully charged with magic power.

"It's Ibaraki Doji, the demon child. He's ready to fight with us!" said Itsuo.

"YOU MUST SHIVER NOW IN FEAR, YOU MONSTER!" He dives down to stroke the ground that caused it to shatter apart.
