New born

I felt a bit dizzy when I opened my eyes. I saw a little teenager girl staring at me anxiously and the atmosphere seemed tense some how.

I thought of asking them, I said where am I ? But to my surprise, I wasn't speaking instead it was like a baby's cry like 'wu -wa-we-wu'.

I was startled and thought what happened to me?!! I tried to touch my neck but I wasn't able to control my body in a proper way. Just then I noticed I was actually a new born baby here!!

But since I'm a newborn shouldn't I forget what happened in my past life,why is it still so clear in my memory!

Just when I was pondering I noticed that everyone was beaming with happiness saying" The baobei is alive, it's even moving!!".

I gave them a look 'seriously, obviously I'm alive or else do you think a dead baby can talk'.

I guess it was caught by dad, and he stared at me intently and since I wasn't afraid of him, I glared back while crouching my nose. Everyone started laughing due to the interaction between us.

My mother said,"Aiya,stop scaring our child, he is so small but still you are staring him like he is a criminal,humph!!"

Even I was mused by my mom's words, I smiled at her and laughed but instead it seemed like a baby's no teeth grin.

She teased me saying" You're looking like an old man like that!!".

I stopped smiling,and my face turned sour but still she laughed out loud.

I thought,'Just you wait damn old woman, I will kick your *** once I grow up, humph!!!'

I guess the entire time my dad was reading my expressions and hence he picked me up, and told my so-called mother to take rest, despite all the resistance by me mom and me, I was still brought out.

He brought me out, and took me towards another courtyard. I was amused by all the things I saw in the way in his arms, it was an ancient scenery, those which can only be witnessed in dramas and classical paintings.

I thought,'Just where in the world am I?!!'

After a walking about 15 minutes, he brought me to a room with wooden bed and classical set up. I was looking around the room, when suddenly he picked me up, put up a translucent screen with a wave of his hands and started to inspect me from every corner. I was angry but of what use, I let him fumble around.

After an hour or so, he stopped and looked at me and asked,"Who are you?"

I was startled by his question but in order to save myself, because anything can happen to me here, I started crying, a really, really loud cry or else my mom won't save me!! I cried like I was in hell, but that jerk old man didn't even seem to care he just stared at me with his clear eyes.

Not only that, but I snorted, cried and just when I was about to fall off the bed he caught me and said," It's alright baobei, I'm not going to harm you, it's just that your emotions are not like a child but like an adult instead that's why I asked. Don't be scared, you are my son, and I am your dad there's no fault in this."

I started to calm down slowly and hiccup,but he caressed me in his arms and I felt the love I missed the most, Mom and Dad's company.

He didn't notice my nostalgia but since I calmed down and he said," I guess you still possess your memories from your past life. I don't know how did you die, but since here you are my son you can relax and live as you wish. Just don't do bad things".

He smiled which made my heart warm and I too smiled at him. He seemed very satisfied with my response he then brought me back and laid me next to mom.

Since I was tired from all these, I went to deep sleep.
