Jessie - Part 2

"Is that him?" Sienna and Taylor asked at the same. Jessie nodded. Sienna and Taylor immediately became speechless and stared in awe. Both of them looked at the handsome guy standing near the snack table. Jessie intentionally invited her two friends to the anniversary of her mother and father's wedding. She wanted them to help her out and become her private arranged marriage counselors.

"Fairly tall, white, handsome. A collage graduate. His father is a businessman. His mother is a government officer. His name is Jason. I’m sure he meets your high standards, right?" Jessie explained at length.

"If you don’t want him, just give him to me. I won’t refuse." Sienna said, half hoping. Jessie elbowed her best friend.

"Chris was right, that freak. Meet him first, and then decide whether you want him or not." Taylor said.

Well, he might not be as handsome as Robert Pattinson, or as cute as Zac Efron, but he’s not ugly either. At least he had a warm smile and attractive look. Other than that, he’s well dressed in sleek and stylish suit, complete with some leather shoes. Obviously, he got an easy approval from all three of them, they couldn’t take their away from him since they first saw him.

Jessie‘s mom approached and greeted the three. "Jessie, I need to talk for a while." Jessie casually followed when her mom grabbed her arm.

"Forgive me. I’ve forced you. If you don't want Jason, that's fine. I was wrong to have forced you anyway." Jessie wanted to talk, but she was cut by her mom before she even had a chance to make any sound.

"I want the best for you, but I shouldn’t have forced you either. I forgot that Jason is older than you. I forgot to ask his mom." Jessie stood in silence. What do you mean?

"Jason is the same age as your sister, Claire. Hahaha ... How can I forget? When Jason was born, I was still expecting Claire."

Jessie wanted to say something, but nothing came out of her lips. She saw her sister, Claire, approached and greeted Jason and both of them were joking happily. Somewhat intimate. They even feed each other lovingly!

"I’m planning to set Claire and Jason together. They seem to be a good match, right?"

Jessie nodded slowly, though she actually wanted to answer no. Inside her, her heart was bleeding. The handsome, super attractive guy is now chatting happily with her sister. They got even friendlier by the minute.

"I will be a mother-in-law soon. Who knows, maybe I’ll even have grandchildren right away." Jessie was stunned. It felt like a super big sledgehammer just slammed her head. "Forgive me, okay. I promise I won't force you anymore. I won’t set you up again." She could feel her head spinning and see stars around her head. She suddenly felt dizzy. Her mom left her to meet other guests. Sienna and Taylor immediately approached her.

"What is wrong with you?" both of them asked at the same time, seeing that Jessie was pale. Bang! And Jessie passed out from the shock!
