Madison and Cassandra had arrived at their destination. The carriage pulled up in front of the school. "We are finally here," the coach proclaims. Madison was sound asleep in the carriage. Cassandra was gazing out the window. Cassandra attempted to rouse her. Cassandra left Madison inside the carriage since she didn't wake up.
When Cassandra looked at the school she was amazed.
Cassandra had a lot of free time because it was still early. Cassandra entered the library and began reading. The majority of students prefer to play outside in the courtyard. Cassandra prefers to be alone, which she finds in the library. Cassandra was thinking to herself, Where is my class room? Will I be able to do a decent job? I hope I don't make a fool of myself. Cassandra felt nervous and couldn't concentrate on reading.
The only thing Cassandra knows about the school is that the Emperor attended it as well. Cassandra was in the same class as the Emperor. However, he paid little attention to her. Cassandra appeared to everyone as a ghost.
"I need to get a new book." Cassandra was browsing the library for a good book to read. A book drew her attention in the fiction section. She was about to take the book, but someone got it before her.
Cassandra was saddened by the fact that the book she wanted had been taken. Cassandra notices something when she examines the person closely. That is the emperor who will kill me.
...16 year old James ...
James locked his gaze on her back. He could tell she was terrified and apprehensive. "Did you specifically pick this book?" He offers her the book nicely. “No! I am fine." The offer was declined by Cassandra. Cassandra was getting ready to leave. James takes her hand in his. "Take it!" James was pleading with her to accept it. If I refuse the offer, he will continue to make it to me. This guy is just extraordinary. "Many thanks!" Cassandra hurriedly grabbed the book and walked away.
"She's very cute!" Cassandra faded from James' view.
I never expected to run into him so quickly. That's fine! This is my final year of school. I won't see him again after that. Hopefully! The bell rang just as Cassandra was going to sit down. What the hell is going on here? It happened so quickly! I have no idea where my class is located. Cassandra placed the books away before leaving the library.
I'll follow James because I don't know where my class is. James was directly in front of her. James was well aware that she was trailing him. He didn't say anything to her, however. James turned around to see Cassandra as they walked. Cassandra pretended to be blindfolded so James wouldn't be suspicious.
"Can you tell me why you're following?" Cassandra's cheeks were extremely flushed. She was at a loss for words. "I'm not following you!" She was flushing profusely. "It's so cute!" James gave her a kind smile. What is the matter with this guy? "As you know, I'm not going to class." James had been wanting to play with Cassandra all along. "What exactly do you mean?" Cassandra let out a frightened laugh.
"I'm just going for a walk around the school." James stepped back a few steps to get closer to Cassandra.
"Do you have any idea where the classroom is?" He spoke to her in hushed tones. Cassandra stepped back two inches from him. "I'm aware of the location of the classroom!" James laughted at her. "However, why are you following me?" James was now serious. No way! I've irritated him. Staying with him any longer is not a good idea. Cassandra turned around to avoid James. James grabbed her by the waist as she was about to leave. "Fine, I'll assist you in finding the classroom."
