The bitter encounter

When they all were leaving, they met William on the hospital gate.

“Grandpa, grandma are you guys fine? What are you doing in the hospital?” asked William with the worried face.

“Will, we are fine,” said Mr. Smith.

“What are you guys doing here? I got really worried when James (his assistant) told me that you guys went to hospital. I rushed here immediately,” he said.

“You know how clumsy your grandpa can be. He was about to be hit by a car, but thankfully this young lady saved him. But poor girl injured herself. So, we brought her for bandage,” said Mrs. Smith.

— Naina’s Pov—

When we were heading out, we were stopped by a gorgeous man in formals. He looks like really good....!! He seems like this elder couple’s grandson.....but I think I have seen him somewhere, I cannot recall where...

“This girl, she saved your life,” he asked.

He took out some chequebook kind of thing from his pocket and signed a cheque. He handed over me a black cheque and said “fill the amount you want as a token of thanks from Smith family.”

My eyes widened from anger. What the hell does he think of himself?? He thinks that I saved his grandpa to rob money from them. How shabby one can be! I felt like giving him a tight slap. But then I decided to slap him with words... watch me (smirks).

“Excuse me?? Keep this cheque and money with you and use them to appoint someone to take care of your grandparents because you cannot do it yourself so at least use your money for that. And whoever you are, not everyone is like you thinking about money for everything,” I insulted him and left limping since I was injured. Ahh... what satisfaction. I loved the reaction on that morons face. hahaha...

—William’s Pov—

What the f**k did that woman say? What does she think of herself? That woman, does she even know who she spoke with?

I am THE William Smith, nobody ever dared to speak with me like this and that sick woman.

She looked kind of pretty but girls like her roam around me for my money. And she just gave it back on my face. Don’t she know that I can ruin her life with just a blink. Oh my god... deep breath because I just hate arrogant girls like her.

“Why did you handed over a cheque to her. You insulted her..., not everyone is like the girls you stay with. Poor girl really helped us and you let her leave like this Will. That’s not what we expect from you,” grandpa said to me.

What now grandpa is also talking me like this. It’s all because of that I’ll mannered silly girl. If I see her again, I will not spare her, this time I let her go because she saved grandpa.

“Stop it! Let’s go home now,” grandma said.

We were leaving from the hospital, I was leaving for my company, while grandpa and grandma where going home.
