Kitsune (2)

The tailed foxes

fight with dozens of monsters in the form of giant wasps. The magic of their

pitch-black enemy suffocates every individual who inhales it. The heat from the

sun's flames continuously assaulted the numerous monsters and spread throughout

the Illusory Hill and its surroundings. The screams of the Foxes were heard

colliding with the hum of the flapping of their opponents' wings. A fire broke

out in the forest around Illusion Hill. The green and shady pine trees were

slowly swallowed up by the smoldering red. If left by, the entire Miwamori

forest could eventually be engulfed in flames.

"JEONGIN..!!!!

JEONGIN WHERE ARE YOU...?????” Sam, seeing such a dangerous situation he

immediately flew faster than before, slicing through the thick smoke of the

fire... braving danger... and behind the thick smoke was a huge gaping hole in

the southeastern part of Illusory Hill.

"... this, one

of the meteors that passed last night?" asked Sky among those who passed

above.

"Could be..

the impact is too big huh .." Peter answered next to him.

Right in the middle

of the large hole that had been hit by a meteor, there were scattered pieces of

space rock. The remnants of the fire from the fall still look bluish. However,

Stray Kids' attention is not centered on the incident because they are still

worried about Jeongin, Miwamori's fire, and the Foxes who are fighting.

Sky and Quincy flew

to the east side, Peter and Javi to the west, Louis and Romora to the south

side, Sam straight north while Chris and Yanda went into battle to help the

Foxes.

"You guys just

look for Jeongin.. I will put out this fire.." Felix said. Together with

his Pegasus, Cerise, they flew towards the fire point that was ravaging the

forest around Illusory Hill.

"I'm coming

with you 'Lix.." Minho chased after him with Sharon. He knew exactly his

magic and Felix would be of great help this time.

"Sure.. come

on.." Felix poured out his Magia. He was ready to use combined magic with

Minho from a height. Likewise Minho, his body was shrouded in a thin, fiery red

color.

“TORRENTIAL

RAIN...” centered on their magic, in the sky appeared thick black clouds that

instantly made the sky shady. BRRRSSSHHHHH...... with heavy rain pouring down

the fire which was then extinguished. Slowly they flew around the burning

forest so that the rain extinguished the fires evenly.

.................

Chris got off

Yanda's back, changed his form and helped the Kitsunes in the middle of their

fight. The monsters seemed to have no language. Unlike the Foxes who fuss with

their language and spells, the giant wasps only fight with the hum of their

wings.

"I will use

ice magic, you guys take cover first .." Dragon Chris said to the Kitsunes.

"Thank

you.." One of the Foxes looked down at Chris and heard his advice. He then

withdrew with several other Foxes.

“Snow strike....

BLIZZARD...!!!!!” Chris flapped his wings. FWWUUUUU..... The cold wind and

swirling snow attacked the monsters causing some to be blown away by it. The

air temperature dropped drastically. Anyone who was hit by that move would

definitely feel blood flow freeze due to the extreme cold.

But unexpectedly..

DZZIINNGGG...!!!!!! one of them counterattacked Chris with a black beam shot

out of his eye.

“WATCH OUT...!!!!!”

a Fox who realized the attack sacrificed himself to protect Chris.

BWOOOSSHHH.... It

happened so fast. The Fox that was hit by the attack instantly disappeared into

ashes in the wind.

“NOOOOOOOOO...!!!!!!!”

Chris, who was shocked to see a dead Fox in front of him, stopped his magic

instantly. His Blizzard winds and storms just stopped. Leaving the snow flakes

that covered the grass of the Illusory Hill. His long neck was bowed, he was

mourning… grief which then ignited anger. His blue eyes lit up. Cold steam blew

from his mouth. He then raised his head and prepared the next spell...

“Enough Chris....”

*TING...

Stray Kids and

their Pegasus instantly disappeared and moved including Minho and Felix who

were spreading rain even Chris who was fighting in Dragon form, returned to his

original form. They appeared before Jeongin who had been in Jijitsuko Jinja

from the start, on his throne. The large painting of God Inari is beautifully

displayed behind Jeongin. The Kitsune symbol is visible in every corner. Sheer

red curtains adorned with gold beads adorned the high windows. Complete with

large pillars with carvings typical of Miwamori supporting the sturdy roof. The

sacred temple which is now guarded by the Foxes around it. Jeongin the priest

sat up straight, revealing the seven tails he usually hides. His eyes were

closed, the symbol on his forehead shining. He gave off an aura that was very,

very different from the usual Jeongin.

"Jeongin? But

you said you were in Illusion Hill.. that's why we went there and looked for

you--” Sam who was worried without further ado immediately asked him.

“...yes, I want you

to see firsthand the situation 'we' are in right now... those monsters.. one of

the Devils of the Seven Great Sins.. The devil of greed, Mammon..” Jeongin

stood up and took a step. descended from the throne, approached his friends.

Orange magia flowed down his seven tails, blazing like torches that lit up

everywhere. Slowly he opened his eyes. The slowly raised eyelids revealed

eyeballs of the same color as when Sky had last seen him in Chaldene, red. Two

eyeballs showing the savage gaze of the owner.

Stray Kids still

don't understand the situation they are in. Starting from Jeongin who has been

acting strangely since morning, dozens of giant wasp monsters that appear in

the Illusory Hill, to those who suddenly move to Jijitsuko Jinja. The seven

leaders just looked at each other and looked at Jeongin with confused

expressions.
