Episode 1 The new path

Eh! Where is this? It’s dark in here! Is this

what they call afterlife?  I am pretty

sure I got stabbed in the back by my best friend ZHOU DAIYU! Even after all I

did for her! She teamed up with my so called boyfriend and stepmother with the

intention to take away all my father's inheritance since he left most of it to

me.         I swear I'll take my revenge on them in this

life or in the next! Now I realize I was naïve, which means I need to revise

everything that I believed so I need to investigate the death of my parents and

brother, at first I thought they were just unlucky in life and didn’t get to

live long but after what happened I can’t help but think that someone was

behind it, it’s logical: my mother was in the way of my step to the position of

the wife because she just came with dad one day, they probably had some kind of

affair and if mother was alive I am sure father wouldn’t have married her so

she wouldn’t inherit a cent, my brother was the successor of father meaning he

would have had the largest share if not to say everything, so they had to

dispose of him, lastly my father, I think they got tired of waiting, or he

found out something he “shouldn’t have”, but unexpectedly for them he gave most

of his properties to me, probably because he felt something wrong with them, I

was the idiot who didn’t think much of it

"Do you want power??" a strange voice

I hesitated for a second but just remembering

question even I was surprised by it but for someone like me who died once and

got revived I managed to hold it in

I am in this forest in FANGZHU I need to find

some kind of shelter tonight and since I have no money staying in a hotel is

out of the question, and even if I had it’s not wise to show myself right now,

I am weak, helpless, and on top of that dead.

 While I

PALM" I thought about for a bit and the most suitable choice for my

current state is the second because it’s a cultivation technique and a high

grade, even though the first choice is very attractive but it’s not the right

time if I have the chance I would like to get it in the future.

When I chose the second skill the book disappeared

and it started entering my head, the process was extremely painful to the point

For now I need to reach a higher stage fast so

it’s best to resort to the second method which not only can make me stronger

but I also can get points to purchase skills and the dead bodies won’t be a

problem but I am too weak as I am right now so I’ll have to start with to get

stronger first then I’ll eventually get my revenge. I started cultivating, it

it said something about being lucky and drawing some kind of trump card then

the system gave me a reward which is a cultivation technique called “NINE VOIDS

FOUNDATION” but I already have one so I decided to just hold on it for the time

being

This realm has a special trait it’s the only one

where you can open your meridians, of course the more you open the best the

results meaning that not only you become more powerful but also the proficiency

of your training rises so I need at all costs to open all 12 MERIDIANS

After getting this general knowledge I decide

that I need to kill small fries for the time being, that way I can ensure

having a passable amount of EP without some kind of crazy rising in cultivation

because that’ a double edged sword it’s true that I’ll become more powerful faster

but it could mean not having enough time to unlock all the meridians

Right now I need two things first is some kind of

combat art that’s why I got “ANCIENT MARTIAL ARTS STYLE” which cost me 5 EP and

the last 3 EP I asked the system if it could process them to real money, and so

I gained 10K YUAN which should be sufficient for the time being but I need a

way to get money because I have to save up my EP, well I’ll think about it

later

since this system asked me to do it I will there is nothing to lose either way,

so I tried to sneak an attack because I need to kill at least one with the

first strike so I rushed toward them I hit the one who was holding the girl in
