THE NEXT TWO YEARS

The next two years.....

We started communicating more often after that night. We became best friends and shared everything between us. We shared our thoughts, our feelings, our lunch boxes (rather I was the only one who use to bring lunch for her) and sometimes even bed, ONLY FOR STUDY PURPOSE! I completely forgot that I was ever in love with Tani. We were good friends now. People were jealous of this new pair but we were proud.

I helped her in every assignment and project and we spent a wonderful time together. We were close yet never felt that I was going to do with this attraction any more. She was a normal human for me now. She was rich but never let me feel that I wasn't. We hang out together did parties together and yes, 1 learnt driving too.

Months passed by the same when it was our annual function at our college. Tani had nominated her name for a solo dance for that function. She was very excited about her performance and encouraged her duly. Finally, the day came. It was 12" of April 2010, our college annual day. We both have reached college an hour before the program so that she could rehearse once. She was all prepared for her dance.

The show went on well and everyone appreciated her performance. Tani was very happy that day. We didn't the function to end and we left we had had some other plans. Tani wants to drink and I was ordered accompany here. We went to her house where had already arranged her drinks."You know, when I was a kid no one appreciated me, I was a dumb girl"

"Why do you say so, you were wonderful at the stage" I know Ram...."Seriously you are the best dancer I have ever seen"Don't be humble Ram, I know what lam" 1 am not being humble. You really are a wonderful dancer" Okay... Why don't you drink?"1 don't like to" I love drinking, especially wine" Ya, I know that..."

By the time I noticed the conversation. She was drunk and was lying in bed. One of her top buttons was partly opened which making me arousing. For a moment I was attracted to her body, but controlled myself."What will you do, after you pass out?"Not yet planned, let's see what is written in my destiny... And what about you?"Nothing. But I will miss you... 1will m..."And she fell down on her bed. Yes, she was drunk and almost unconscious es. Her opened button was attracting my nerves, my inner demons were like scolding me for not obeying them but never indented to do anything wrong with Taniver. Maybe I loved her or maybe I respected her. I opened her sandal and covered her with a blanket. The entire night I made sure she was okay she kept on murmuring, "I will... I will... you.." and kept on watching the perfect creation of God, Tani!
