" Please cooperate with us. If you prove your innocence then you are free to go." Said calmly the female officer.

What was wrong with them , accusing me of of something I didn't do. Couldn't they see the lifeless body of my father lying in the ground..?

" Hey... he shot my father, but you won't bring him to the station." I yelled feeling angry and pointed my index finger to Xiao Chen.

" Sorry miss, but he was doing a work for us. The man in the ground, your father did some bad things. Crime, and you we would explain it to you in the station. So please follow us." Said the male officer impatiently.

"My father would never do that." I yelled.

They ignore me and handcuffed my hands. I was screaming and trashing around. The male officer was so strong. Today is the worst day of my life. Why, me..?

" Xiao Chen go to hell. " I yelled at him. He seem amused by my situation and the woman beside him laugh at me.

The police officers brought me to their car and drove towards the station. All this while I was quiet, sad maybe depressed..?

We arrived and they brought me out of the car and inside the station. They brought me inside small room with black windows. I waited and waited. It felt like hours. The door suddenly opened indicating that someone came in.

That person sat in front of me. " Ahem.. So miss Linlin. Some people said that you stole information of the Qi company. And that you beat a guy called Zhang Lei." That person said.

Zhang Lei. Can it be my friend..? No, impossible.

" You are wrong if so give me the evidences. I wanna see them." I said calmly knowing either they were fake or either they didn't have one.

But he took out a laptop , typing something on it and giving me the laptop so I could see his so called " evidence ". It was a video. There was me talking to Zhan Lei and then from nowhere I was getting mad and the beating the sh*t out of him. And that's all.

What..? Zhan Lei..? Me.. beating him..? That's not true something must be wrong. I remember that day. He once said that he wanted to be an actor. It was the day were he said that we should have an acting time. He wanted to practice with me so I agreed.

" Police officer I think you are mistaken, there must be some problems. That day my friend just told me to practice acting with him." I told the police in front of me. But the looks in his eyes told me otherwise. He didn't believe me. I had no proofs. Zhang Lei is my proof.

" Sorry miss Linlin. You don't have proof. No more talking. After three days there will be a court. And the victim Zhang Lei will be there. For now you are just gonna stay here in the prison behind the cells." He announced. What..? Court..? Zhang Lei..?

" Officer but can you please let me see my family..?" I asked with tears already falling in my eyes.

" Sorry miss, but I can't. " He said his face void of emotions. I couldn't anymore so I broke crying.

" T-t-th-en h-ho-ow a-a-bo-o-out yo-ou te-ell me i-if hic th-he-y a-r-re hic w-e-ll. " I begged him. He soften his eyes and said " I'm not allowed to this but I'm gonna try. So take this and wipe your tears away. " He gave me a handkerchief. I nod my head feeling completely useless.

He went out and guide me to follow him. He guide me towards a cell like the other ones and left me there.

So many things running in  my mind. Zhang Lei, my father , my mother , Xiao Chen , the unknown woman , my destroyed wedding , my life , my everything.

I don't want this. I need to get out of this hellhole. I need to wait for three more days and I'm getting of this prison. I just need to Zhang Lei to testify my innocence. He is gonna help me. Hope days pass faster.
