Welcome to my first textfic story
Let me explain a little bit of some short cut I use
This emoji 💭 means: thoughts and thinking
There will be a few use of emoji in the story from time to time
So I can’t explain all of them, but you get the idea 💡
This (.) dot means : moving from one topic to another
When there is a " *text* " it means : actions
There are some more short cuts, but for now. This is all there is to keep in mind

On a sunny day, up at the hill

Lady Rosaria
Hehe, if you want to win. You gotta play some tricks~
Emily
Hpmh! Not fair at all, let’s start over!
Lady Rosaria
Come on now, it’s almost time for lunch. We can’t play another round.
Lady Rosaria
Plus, your brother is going to kill me if he knew we sneak out to play…
Emily
Come on Rose, it’s not that long-
Lady Rosaria
Anyway, let’s hurry and head back home
Lady Rosaria
Hopefully we’ll be there before your brother…
Emily
Stop mentioning my brother Rose, he’s just being protective of me.
Emily
He isn’t a scary or bad person like you thought he was

But all that treatment is only for you, Emily. Edwin isn’t the person you describe him to be at all around others. He’s the opposite.

Not more buts! Let’s get going.

Oh okay then, I’ll tell the coachman to prepare the horses

We’ll set off as soon as the preparations are done properly :D
Lady Rosaria
No, we can’t postpone this any longer. Plus, there is nothing wrong with it when we came here

So let’s just hop on the carriage and speed up to your manor

We can’t, our time is slim and limited.
Rosaria drag Emily by her wrist to the carriage

Let’s hurry to the green manor, coachman.
Coachman
Of course, my lady. I’ll go at the full speed as per your request.
After a few minutes of driving, Rosaria notice Emily’s expression
Lady Rosaria
What is with your expression Emily?
Lady Rosaria
Are you okay?
Emily
I’m just feeling a little bit unhappy and my gut feeling is telling me that this is not a good decision…
Lady Rosaria
Please stop with this nonsense.
Lady Rosaria

I-I tried…but my feelings is telling me otherwise.
Emily
I just don’t have the strength to think properly-
The carriage suddenly stop

Uh…I’ll go check it out.
Lady Rosaria
Alright then…be careful.
Emily
I will,don’t worry..
Emily got out of the carriage
As soon as she stepped foot outside, the carriage suddenly caught on flame
Emily
Rose! Can you hear me?!
Lady Rosaria
What the hell is going on…! * cough*
Emily
I don’t know, but you are still inside.
Emily
HURRY! GET OUT! THERE’S A FIRE!
Lady Rosaria
*cough* I can’t open my eyes! The ashes is making my eyes teary!
Emily
But the fire is going deeper and closer to you! Trust me and jump out from it!
Lady Rosaria
Okay, I’ll trust you on this once! Hng!
Rosaria jumps out of the carriage as the fire is getting even more fierce
Emily
Why is this happening to us…
The two of them hug each other tightly
The two of them drag the man out of the collapsing carriage
Emily
Now that he is gone…what should we do?
Emily
I don’t have much stamina to carry him back to my house.
Lady Rosaria
My back still hurts from that jump…
Emily
Ah…then should we look for help from the locals-
Lady Rosaria
Dummy…there is no one living in the middle of the forest…
Emily
Oh yeah, you’re right…
Lady Rosaria
Ugh…my head hurts…
Emily
Hey don’t play a prank on me! You can’t faint right now!
Lady Rosaria
I’m…sorry, but I can barely keep a standing…
