Lilia Arson & Co.

A wedding is a ceremony where two people are united in marriage. It is the number one fantasy of all women. By the time most women reached the age of 15, they have already planned out the details of their dream wedding.

Lilia Arson & Co. offers complete wedding event planning and delivers the most personalized arrangement. By this time, it is one of the leading organizing companies for wedding events. Moreover, it has started gaining popularity thanks to a wedding planner who devoted her heart in her work.

“Lilia, I cannot accept this.” Erika complained.

She was in a rush and was breathing heavily as she stormed her way in at Director and owner, Lilia Arson’s office.

“Honey, just give him the chance that he is up to the task.” the Madam calmly answered.

Lilia favored Erika and treats her like her own daughter even if they were not related by blood. There were even rumors that she will make Erika Leigh Patterson inherit the business. At 56 years old she already plans to retire.

“I’ve been with you all these years. I’ve invested a lot in this company and make it to what it is now then suddenly someone with unknown credibility would just pop out from nowhere and you telling me he will replace you?” Erika continuously complained with her veins popping out of her neck.

“It’s not like that Honey; he will just be here temporarily to assume my post.”

“I will be away for a couple of months.” The Madam added.

Erika closed her eyes as she inhaled deeply. “I’m your partner in this business Lilia and why not tell me this sooner?”

“I too didn’t see this coming...” Mrs. Arson paused, “My granddaughter is dying.” She sadly added.

Erika was stunned for she cannot believe what she’s hearing. “Dianne?”

The old lady faintly smiled. “She’s got to an accident.”

Erika suddenly felt like all her strength left her knees and slumped in the couch nearby. She knew Dianne. She’s one of those angelic daughters any parents would like to have. She’s too young at 7 to suffer such fate.

“I’m sorry for not being of any help these past few days.” Mrs. Arson broke the silence.

“I will have Todd help you run the business temporarily.”

“I can handle this by myself.”

Lilia let out a deep sigh. “I just want to lighten up your burden Erika. Being both a wedding planner and a Director is no joke. It is too much. I don’t want to see you struggle anymore honey.” The old lady explained with so much softness in her voice. She really speaks softly naturally.

“I could handle both,” Erika insisted. “I did it didn’t I?”

“Yes you did that you forget to live a life for yourself.” Mrs. Arson got up from her chair; approached the furious young lady and hugged her.

“I knew the man,” she continued. “He will be of great help to you.”

Erika’s Office

Erika left her house inhaling the fresh air the environment is giving her that morning. She could even feel the warm of the morning sun touching her skin, thus giving her the positive vibe that today would be a day to look forward to.

To think that it would be the opposite.

“You looked so stressed.” Rina commented as she put some documents on Erika’s desk. She’s the Venue Coordinator.

“Have you heard about the new Director?”

“I do,” Rina answered. “Rumors are he’s from the other side of the earth and just arrived in the country for the first time.

Erika let out a laugh of disappointment.
