"Who are you?", that was what I said to him. "who was him? , "who was who?" , I was questioning myself being super confused about what I was even talking about. I felt like I was forgetting something. I couldn't remember walking all the way, climbing stairs of my building and not even unlocking the door . It was all completely blank. [blinking continously for couple of seconds] "Am I out of my mind ? ", I scoffed at myself.

Then, I remembered about Charles. Before calling him, I got out of my messy bed. I was wearing same clothes I wore the day before. Even the red scarf was on my neck. I always would change my outfit and wash my face before going to sleep but that day was exception.

I made my bed, put the book Aunt Mary gave me in the bookself right above the pillow with many other books and went to take shower. I made breakfast and coffee. Sitting in front of the window from where I could see the road down the hill I pressed the call to Charles.

"Hey ....? what's up...?", he picked up my call in one ring.

"I'm good and I am so sorry about yesterday, I was so tired", I replied with a sad voice.

"It's ok, no problem. But you owe me for making me wait all night in the dark" , he said. I felt little bad for him and judging by the voice he sounded little different.

I asked him if he was sick but he said nothing serious. "Um... um...hey I had a movie ticket my friend gave me, would you mind ?" , he asked with cracking voice if he was asking for a favor. But I had to make it upto him so I agreed to meet at three noon.

I turned on the T.V and heard a voice of cat outside the door which I was searching the day before. I rushed to open the door with a cat food and water to feed. She started to eat as I petted and stroked around her body.

"Yesterday on a heavy snowy day, two people were found unconscious near the train station of Micstreet around 9 pm. It seemed like it was an animal attack, they don't remember anything, the souce reports. They are getting the necessary treatment and is in the stable condition. We will update you shortly, ... today in the morning near the border.........." , T.V news continued.

Those hairs on my body went straight just hearing the news. So, I turned off the T.V going inside the room and instead started watering the flowers blooming at the around the roof.

Charles

My parents weren't home and two of my friends Liam and Mark came to join me later at night. The day before, I was so nervous to meet June. I waited her for about two hours straight after meeting time we promised. I was little worried about if she went home safely. I called her but she didn't seem to notice. Her house was at the top of the hill. I have never gone inside her apartment but I wanted to. I even asked for help from Lisa but she wouldn't.

I was walking front and back on the pitch road kicking the small stones. There was street light just above my head following all the way upto the hills to down the road from my home. Our coffee shop had a very tiny dim lights around it couple of yard across. Then I heard the sound of mountain bikes rushing upward the hill. It was Liam and Mark calling my name and I went home.

In the morning, "Yoo, when's your parents coming back ?" ,Liam was asking me question looking himself at the mirror at the corner of my room checking his hair.

"I don't know" , I replied with bored voice. They were having conversations but I was thinking about her. I went to balcony which was made out of transparent glass. Just down the balcony was a swimming pool. As I opeaned a small blue box out from my pocket, It was a necklace in shape of tiny moon that I wanted to gift her. It was with me from august when she was with her boyfriend, that time I couldn't help myself buying it after seeing it.

I was slowly swinging the necklace near my face suddenly my phone rang and I picked up super fast. I almost dropped it in the pool.

I talked with her for sometime and made a plan for a movie. Rushing inside right after the phone ended, I brought an online ticket as fast as i could.

"We'll be heading bro.." , I heard the sound down from the kitchen through the stairs and went to them putting necklace back to blue box, back to my pocket.
