Chapter 5 - Sam's Mother....

AT THE HOSPITAL .....

"Excuse me miss," said Sam to the receptionist of the hospital where his mother had been admitted lately. "Yes sir, how may I help you?" asked the reciptionist who was busy in her work and did not see that who was she talking to.She then looked up and figured that he was the visitor of a regular patient,"Oh Mr Sam, what can I help you with?".."Please give me the pending bills of patient of room number 106 and the medicine bills as well" asked Sam busy in his phone.."Yes sir , just a second" said the reciptionist and started searching the list of various patients ..."Here you go sir" said the reciptionist giving a brown file to Sam which included all the medical details of his mother...He took the file from one hand while was busy checking the mails and messages for the last time before switching off his phone because his mother did not like him using the phone infront of her as he used to meet her after long gaps and seeing him busy in his phone used to make her angry..."Thanks miss" said Sam and headed towards the bill payment centre...

After the payment he went to his mother's room and opened the door very lightly and peeked to see what his mother was doing...

"Mom , mom ..." said Sam in a soft voice to check whether his mother was asleep or not . "I guess she is sleeping " thought Sam and softly closed the door. He kept the file on the table near her bed and sat closed to her.He took her hand and was slightly patting when suddenly her mother said " For how long will you be staying this time"in a rude tone as she did not like when he left her alone . " One month mom, don't worry I will visit you very frequently in this one month and will irritate to your last extent so that you don't miss me for atleast two to three months " said in a funny tone while smiling hard...

"See this child, calcutaling the exact duration for which he will irritate me so that I will not miss him...This idiot officer brat" said her mother and laughed.."Come now, give me a hug" said her mother and Sam hugged her and kissed her forehead...

After two hours...

"Mom , I need water.. I'll get one bottle for me from the cafeteria. Do you need anything?" asked Sam ." Yes, get me a bottle of .......COCA COLA...." said her mother in a hesitated tone and said the word coca cola very softly as she knew she was not allowed to take junk foods...

"What😰....no way mom , I can do anything you say but not this... sorry mom..I'll just come with the bottle" said Sam smiling while as he came out of the room, started laughing recalling his mom's childish longings😂😂...

"Can I get a bottle of water please " said Sam to the cafeteria boy .."Yes sir " said the boy handing a bottle of water to Sam. When he was on his way back to his mother's room , he saw a girl , wearing black shirt, denim jeans , black sneakers and was carrying a brown side sling bag and her hairs tide in a ,essy bun , standing near the reciptionist...She was such a beauty which attracted Sam's attention towards her...He kept walking towards the room while watching her . When he turned to the other corridor , he thought" Wow, what a beauty she was, not wearing any fancy clothes and makup and yet looked so beautiful and elegant. But wait , have I seen her before..." He started recalling her face if he had seen her somewhere and suddenly recalled the girl who had a fight with Mendes in the cafe that night,"Was she the same girl ? Was she the cashier with whom we fought that day? Yeah ...She was the one I guess...Wow, I did not think she would be so beautiful in reality ..." he thought , smiled and went inside the room .....

MENDES'S HOUSE....

"Damn, that really was a great movie...PARASITE...ahh" said Mendes while getting up after finishing his movie and streaching his body and arms upwards to get back them all together in the right position as he was continuously sitting in his couch for past three hours..."That lead role was surely a beauty, lets see what her name is" said Mendes to himself and started searching about that korean actress..."Cho Yeo-jeong...wow, so beautiful😍" he said to himself and then headed towards his kitchen to get some water..."Damn , I just forgot that now I need to find a housemaid ...and here I am doing Cho Yeo-jeong😂..."said Mendes ...

He then grabbed a bottle of water and started drinking.While drinking , he saw his newspaper which he had not read as he was in a habit to read the daily news.."Ohh whats this?"said Mendes picking up a pink sheet which fell from the newspaper he was reading ..."Find housemaid just in one call? like seriously.. Is this true..Lets try this ...Wow lucky me, I got a pamphlet giving me information about what I wanted"said Mendes behaving like a kid and called the number mentioned on the pamphlet..

"Hello , housemaid service, "asked Mendes ..."Housemaid service? Do I sound like a housemaid😂..Whom do you want to speak to Mr?"asked the girl on the other side of the phone very softly..."What a kiddish voice, where did I dialed damed" thought Mendes to himself while bringing his phone away from his ears and seeing it in a surprise..."I dialed correct number I guess"thought Mendes and confirmed the number he dialed. He then brought back the phone and spoke"Sorry but where did I call ?"....
