Chapter 3 - Inquiry...

"So, wallet , watch , car keys , yeah I guess I took everything" said Mendes to himself while he was moving out of his house to go to the cafe..He checked again and again his things and the house as his eyes roamed around the whole room as he had his maid taking care of his house but now as he was left alone , he wanted to be aware and alert. For the first time he took his house keys with himeself which he usually kept under his door matress for his maid to come in.

He was wearing black shirt with grey slim fit pants which was ankle length. He was wearing formals but still looked so casual and handsome.He complimented his dress with black sneakers , brown belt watch on his muscular hand and combed his hair once and kept them wavy and fluffy without using gel . He did not use such stuffs which generally boys did but still looked so handsome , muscular and dashing....

He locked the door and went towards the lift but as he was an army officer , did not have the habit of using luxuries so instead choosed stairs to get down although his flat was on 15th floor . His body posture and steps confirmed that he surely was an army brat , even walking on the stairs his steps were equally distributed and was in a rhythmic manner , as a well trained officer should walk..He surely had all the charactersistics that all the girls wanted in their prince

charming but ,,,only few gets this luck...

As he reached 10th floor , he saw a girl in early twenties walking towards him and wishing him good morning," Goodmorning handsome, you going somewhere? Should I accompany you . It would be great fun spending a day together , just you and me" the girl said and started walking towards him with flirtatious eyes.." No little sister, no need " said Mendes in joking manner and went ahead which made the girl irritated as her plans about him always flopped," Remember Mendes, I will make you mine one day, I am not your sister "😬

Mendes reached near his car walking without getting exhausted and smiling for the kiddish act girls around him did to impress him , sat and left for the cafe...

Mendes reached the cafe and entered , the wind chimes hung at the entrance produced a tingling sound which made a girl notice Mendes and she greeted," Welcome sir , please have a seat " .."Thanks alot ", said Mendes in a soft tone ...His polite behaviour made the girl notice but she felt that she had seen the guy before," Is he the one who was with his friends yesterday drinking and dancing " thought Sara in her mind ." If he was the guy dancing yesterday and if I would have known that he is this handsome then I surely would had no problem yesterday in giving them their bills or talking to them . Ohh my god he is so charming..😶😶"...

He then directly went towards the cash counter a bit hesitated as he recalled that Sara was the girl who came to give them their bill yesterday and they were dancing and behaving like idiots infront of her,,and started asking ," Hey miss, I wanted to inquire about a girl who was cashier yesterday at around 8:00 pm"

"Sorry sir but we have three girls doing the work of cashier in night't shift so I am not sure about which girl you are asking"said the girl.." Alright , thanks alot for your help", said Mendes in a disappointed tone and was about to turn and leave when he suddenly stopped at the enterance, kept his left hand on the gate , closed his eyes and tried recalling any clues about her name for the last time..

As he slightly opened his eyes and peeked , he saw a small girl licking her candy and seeing him with facinating eyes. She was a cute girl which made Mendes smirk and he made his eyes narrow and raised his eyebrows twice and thrice in a asking gesture. The kid's mother saw an unknown person interacting with her daughter which made her call her daughter back," Hailey , my girl come back to mumma"... "What the hell is he doing with my daughter" she thought to herself .." Yes , thats it . That girl , her name was Hailey .. on her badge it was Hailey ...yes thats it Hailey " , screamed Mendes in a low tone within himself and was so overwhelmed that the child's mother named her Hailey , he was about to run toward the kid's mother to hug her which made her scream and she picked her daughter like anything and ran as fast as she could 😲😲😱😱which brought Mendes back to his senses.." Damn me, what the hell is happening with me" ...

He ran towards the cash counter in an enthusiastic and excited manner and said in a bold voice" Miss , I know her name was Hailey, yes it- it was Hailey.. Now please give me the information about her , her phone number , address , anything which you guys have " ...

" Sorry sir but we cannot give any information about our staffs to any unknown reasons and furthur we have least information about Hailey because she hardly interacts with us and does not share any of her personal information with us"said the cashier ..She was amused that why a guy handsome like this wants to know about Hailey" Why isn't he asking about me😢"thought the cashire ....

"Sir , if you need any help I can help you with that . Why asking for Hailey?"said the cashier in flirtaious tone which made Mendes smirk and he said in a flirting tone as well " Sorry sweetheart but my work cannot be fulfilled with you " 😜😎

" See you next time beautiful " said Mendes in a bold voice which made the cashier girl blush hard ," oh my god , he said me beautiful ... oh-oh - yess god.. Today was surely a lucky day for me" 😇😇😶😶....
