Hello I am Mrittika. It is said that my tribe was formed ancients ago, by two ducks(swans), yes, named pilchu burhi and pilchu haram, (burhi means granny and haram means old man) they two laid 12 eggs and each had a girl and a boy in them. Each egg was entitled to a certain 'surname', those 12 were- Murmu, Soren, Hansda, Baske, Tudu, Kisku, Besra, Hembram, Mandi, .Yes, I'm talking about the Santhals or santals, 'Santals', more actually, my birth tribe. Some man (author) in country India helped several Santals to know their origin using signs who had adapted to the wrong surnames. The book is "Santhalo ka gotra" by author Digambara Hansda, the description proofs the book is really good. And somewhere it's said that for marry within same surname tally identification is really important. I am a Murmu with clan 'gadh', but the inscriptions in my body according to the book imply Soren even though my feminine donor is Hembram, and I love a 'Styles'. I guess I have to read the book, another fun fact, one of my elders said that the 'Shivling' is believed/assumed to be a urine drop, which from my analytics can form the exact form if Shiv someday practiced meditation in a rock under the waters of the Pilchu Haram Pilchu Burhi, due to the rotational act of warm/normal temperature cold water with the who knows what kind of warmer-minerals. There are short stories like this , like my granny once told me about how Pilchu Burhi (a old crouched lady this time) (for your funfact, Pilchu means bent-****, which swans naturally have) argued nasty and sharp annoyedly with the clouds who kept bringing leafs as much times she broomed, so she tried to slang them out, and on result , they bought rain, so the lady had to run away.
