The Devil's Conquest episode 4

Later at night around 10pm.

The wild illuminating colourful lights of the 'The Devils Den' was shining throughout the club...

People were dancing and loosing themselves wildly on the beats of desi music...

It's the most luxurious club of Mumbai... getting it's pass is not easy and will cost a fortune... I and my best friend owns this place...

Sitting in one of our private lounge... we could keep an eye on most of the club...

The club is a circular building with two floors... with ground floor being the club which had a huge bar counter at the corner and a circular stage the middle... occasionally it was for bar dancers... but alas... people here are so talented... they get drunk to the point were they push dancers away and start their own 'weird' dance on stage...

So we ended up removing all bar dancers and let the stage be empty... so whoever likes to volunteer will go on stage to dance and sing...

And things were no different today or so i thought...

I saw Maan unusually staring out of the one sided floor-to-ceiling tinted glass... with a glass of whiskey in his hand...

I followed his gaze and stare at what he was looking...

I saw a rather familiar girl dancing professionaly on the very stage and she was not alone in this...

A man which I assumed is her friend was dancing in the same rhythm as hers as if they have practiced it a lot of time...

I can see all the eyes were on them... people were hooting and cheering them to go on whilst they were all trying to follow their steps...

It was as if that they have spell bounded the whole club...

My gaze broke when I heard the shattering of glass... it was Aryamaan!

He was flaming hot with rage... I assume... he had harshly thrown the glass of whiskey he was holding a while ago on floor...

Tara's dad wanted to marry off his daughter to me... but I had declined it since I have no intention to settle down...

It was an offer for a political marriage or more than that it was for an alliance...

My jaw clenched just by thinking about this he is the cheif minister of Maharashtra...

And there are those few times when we need his permission to get our work done...

I hated this idea!!! But taking him down will not be an easy task... as he have lot of followers... of course he is a CM for a reason...

But somebody has to volunteer this... so Aryamaan came forward and agreed on marrying his daughter...

And I am grateful to him for this... cause I know my other two buddies can't seem to give up or get over 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 girl... especially Shlok...

'BANG'

Shutting the door with a loud bang Maan went outside... and I know exactly where!

Fúck I am going to get a laid... it's been a while...

With this said he too went outside... Shlok he is the biggest casanova compared to all four of us...

He knows exactly how to please and play with a woman's body... except he wasn't good to a certain girl...

And as for Jeet... I do feel sad for him and hoped that things wouldn't have gotten messy in the past...

From drinking the cheap teas at stalls to drinking the expensive alcohol... we all grew up. "twirls the glass of whiskey"

He said heartedly with a sad smile on his face... I can't help but smile sadly while remembering our old days...

We were once reach by heart but now we are only rich by pocket... heart died long ago in the process...

Countless memories countless talks countless sleepless nights all confides... in those slums which we left after our high school...
