Cathy " phew....!that's the end of today's work! Everyone did good 🤗"
The volunteers along with Cathy were complimenting each other for their work while sunny was lost at the incident that happened before as they all discuss to leave for the night event Spencer comes.
Spencer " Good evening ladies"
Cathy " hi Spencer "
Spencer " Sir, has ordered me to say that today is the last day of the work for you and to enjoy tonight's event and tomorrows too "
Why suddenly ? is it because of Alex?

Spencer walks towards Sunny and hands him a Card
Spencer " Miss, sir would wanted you to have this and also please read it only when you're alone , I'll be taking my leave now"

I wonder what is he thinking?... I opened the card and inside it there was a key card , "Meet you at the roof" was written on it so it turned out to be the key card to the roof but why would the roof need a key card? ?? just then I received a text
" I'll see you at 7 , hope to see you"
it was Charles.. his text made me blush.. I wanted to reply but I didn't ..
Cathy " Sunny??! "
Sunny " Ugh!! yeah? "
Cathy " anything wrong??"
Sunny " No nothing.. what happened??
Cathy " I got a call from mum, she asked if we could visit tomorrow and discuss for your mum's aniversary .. do you want to go?"
Sunny " Mum......(after a pause) Yeah we should "
Cathy " Are you sure??"
Sunny " Yeah..! "
Cathy " Okay.. then I'll inform mum "
Sunny " I'll be heading to my room then "
Cathy " Sure.... I'll meet you later"
Sunny "mm mm bye"
The reason I came here was for work, I thought of returning even if I agreed to meet my family but I guess there's no turning back. This is where my mother was born and I should treasure it like she wanted me to.. I'll not run away, I'll just do my best to overcome it ..
Later that night
I wonder when the event will start, but I have to meet him too 😅 Sigh...... I guess I have no choice... ! I guess this is the elevator
Phone rings

Stranger" hello, we're calling from the **** hospital and we would like to know if know the patient here, ? His name is Alex "
Sunny " Alex?? "
Hospital " Would you please come to the hospital now? we need the signatures of. guardian, thank you"
I was entering the elevator but I didn't know i turned back from there and without realising I'm heading towards the hospital now.. I really hate this habit of mine, whenever I hear something bad about Alex I rushed towards him without a second thought and this habit of mine has not changed still... but this time I'm glad I'm going with someone.
Few minutes back
hospital " Thank you" hangs up
Cathy" hey! I visited your room but you weren't there, where are you going? "
Sunny " I received a call from the hospital about Alex, I have to go "
Cathy " No you can't!! after what he did and you'll only get hurt even if you go!"
Sunny " But there's no one for him in this city"
Cathy " Sigh...... okay let's go together "
Just like that, Cathy came along with me, we were heading towards the hospital my thoughts were full of Alex and myself . I had flashbacks of how we were with each other and just like that we reached the hospital
Cathy " Excuse me Nurse, we received a call for Alex"
Nurse " he's in room 201, but first sign his papers "
Cathy " I'll do that , you go to see him "
Sunny " okay "
I rushed towards the room and as I reached I stopped and stood at the door, I was scared to open because I was ignoring him alot and now we're going to face each other now..
Door opens
Alex was sleeping, I walked towards him and felt relieved that he was fine .
Alex wakes up
Alex " Sunny ? ugh.. ah... why are you here??"
Sunny " Ahh... the hospital called me about you "
Alex " I see, I'm sorry I was overworking so without noticing I passed out on the street"
Sunny " You're really hard working but you should take care of yourself too, your parents will be worried if you fall sick because of over working "
Alex ." And you? would you be worried too? "
Sunny " I .....uhh... "
Alex " it's alright you don't have to answer, we're cool since I was the one who broke your heart "
Sunny " ........ "
Alex " Well I know i shouldn't be forgiven after what I've done but i am really sorry about what ever I did with you... I hope that one day you forgive me and we could see each other smiling again... I don't want to break your mother's promise.. I will take care of you no matter what..."
I just nod my head for the time because I didn't know how to answer him ,
door opens
Cathy " you sure are a machine , how can you work that much that you would pass out? "
Alex " Well isn't it the tough lady ? "
Cathy " yeah it is and be ready to be in bed after you're discharged , I have some business with you too ". clenches her fist
Alex " 😅"
while Sunny was in the hospital , Charles waited for her till the end of the event .
PA " Sir... it seems that Miss Sunny went to the hospital because Mr. Smith was hospitalized there "
Charles "....... .... "
Well I guess you still can't move on.. .. I hope you don't regret after this..
" since everything is over now book my flight for tomorrow "
PA " But tomorrow is the party for the champions"
Charles " Let chuck handle it "
PA " ah.. yes sir "
Charles " Also clean this mess"
PA " 💔 "
" Miss ... what did you do.? 😣"
The roof was decorated beautifully for the firework event but sunny didn't show up which made Charles upset.. The roof was decorated with lights and a small tent was put where they would watch the view from there enjoying some delicious food but ... the main heroine wasn't there to experience all this which made our hero loose hope and left without saying anything.... what will happen to them now??....
