Chapter 4

"Why did you bring me back here?"

"To make everything right." Daniel smiled while sneaking through the bushes to reach my house.

"And how will we do that?" I questioned him. 

"First, we will break in. Second, take a look at this." He pulled out two finger-sized bottles, one filled with blue liquid and the other with pink.

"The blue one will break the magic of love, and the pink one is to help you with your love life," He grinned.

We were hiding behind the bushes in my backyard. It was dark and there were hardly any guards.

"Amy, let's go," He said ready to leave our hiding place.

"You don't have to do it." I stopped him by pulling him back by his shoulder. "You don't have to help me. It's always been this way. I’m fine." I tried my best to control myself. Still, a tear rolled down my cheek.

Nothing's gonna change in Nihan family. It was never a family, but a group living together.

His eyes were fixed on me. He knew I was going to break down. He just doesn't understand. Love was forgotten long ago in our family. Now, everything that's done here is on the basis of business or desire.

"I am not helpless. It's just the way my fate is." I continued. "There's no need to help me. Even if I run away, they will eventually find me. So I shouldn't trouble you anymore. I should just return to my old life again." I looked at the house sadly and smiled.

"But I will definitely help-"

"I said I don't want your help."

All of a sudden I was pulled into a warm and tight hug. I tried to push him away, but he held me tight, not letting go of me.

"You didn't have to compromise. You too deserve to live your life the way you wish it to be." This time I let my tears flow. It was good to know that he understood me.. At least someone understood me.

I could no longer understand what I wanted or why we were here. I never liked it when people helped me. I am always used to compromise. Going against someone else's wish was not something I had ever done.

But now here I am. Trying to go against all of them.

Am I doing the right thing?

"Why are you freaking out? Look, everything is going smoothly..." He searched for my eyes. 

"Yeah..."

"Then why are you suddenly acting this way?" He shot me a worried look.

Why do I feel that something is wrong?

Keeping all my thoughts inside, I went with the madness.

"Are you crazy? You can't climb that wall!" To even imagine him trying to climb a 20 foot wall to reach my sister's room, was scaring me to death.

"Then how will we give her the magic potion?" He asked.

"Let's just go inside." I said without even thinking first.

"Now you're talking like a mad woman." He raised his eyebrow at me.

"Shut up, foolish cupid and just follow me."

Taking a turn around the building we reached the shed which was always open. Going inside, I opened the secret hatch in the ground, which was covered with red carpet.

"Wow, you had this and still you never tried running away till now."

Now that I think about it. I always had the chance to run but never the courage.

"Just shut up. We need to act fast. Everyone in my family wakes up very early." I glanced at the watch on his wrist.

We successfully reached my sister's room, but then heard footsteps approaching.

A tall figure was walking toward us. I immediately knew who this figure belonged to. Daniel clenched his fists ready to fight. It's no use, he could never defeat him. My mind searched for a solution.

I have no choice. Sorry Daniel.

Within a second, I crushed his front onto the floor and took a hold of his hands pinning them behind his back.

"Amy-" said my father, the man who has never lost in a fight.
