Liya got in their car by force
Isaac start to hit and slap her by the time he get in the car. Liya pushed him away.
She was scared then tried to distance herself from Isaac. She couldn't escape because the door was locked

Liya voice was still calm while talking to him
Liya was scared by his husband sudden weird behaviour. It's the first time Isaac raised his voice to her, let alone hit her.
