Ryder's POV

I walked into the underground HQ. It's hidden tho. Even the place is not stated in the Google Map, it's a government secret organisation after all. The moment i step in, the smell of rusty iron cover my noses trill. What a nostalgic and memorable place. Note the sarcasm.

Some of them recognise me, and some are not. They all are wearing their training gears as always, practicing. Practice not to die in the 'battlefield'.

"Mr.Knight. It's been an honour to serve you here. Please come in. Kash. Adam. Caleb" Remington nod to them. They are all besides me.

"Stop with the formality Remy"

Remy grins and few small established wrinkles on his face was visible. He is around in late 40s and he was my supervisor during my time here. He may be old but he's tough as steel.

"Remy my man, it's been awhile" Adam and Caleb went to him and shake hands.

"Yeahh pretty rough around here since my A-list assassins left and fucking suddenly be a prime minister" He grin at me and i roll my eyes.

"So what's bring you here in this 'spooky' place. Your office would be far 10 times greater than this" he emphasised the word spooky and i smirk.

To us, it seems like a normal place that we come and go everyday, doing work. But for others who set in for the first time at this place, they would gag or faint from the negative and dark vibes of this place. The number of people that we caught,torture and kill are countless. The rusty tools and bloody weapons is our best friend for every fucking day.

"I want to meet with Alex team, Neville Tyson case" i said short.

"Alex team is not around. They're on a mission but Alex is here. I can ask for the team leader if is it okay for you"

"If is it okay?? It's far then okay" i said in amusement. I can feel blood rush through me. My bad old self is back. I smirk sinisterly and i let out a deep chuckle.

"Take it easy Ryder. Remember who you are now"

I glare at Kash and groan.

"Such a party wrecker" i mock him and he gave me a nervous laugh.

I sat besides Kash at the interrogation room while he interrogate 'nicely'. Adam and Caleb are behind me.What a nostalgic place indeed. He didn't want me to go all berserk because of my status now.

He is..what i'm gonna say, a rules person. If lets say there are 10 steps of 'how to interrogate" person. He is the person would damn follow the steps. Me? I would jump to step 10 without hesitate.

"Tell us more about the Neville Tyson case"

"No hi, no hello?" Alex exclaimed.

"Listen. You want to do the easy way or the hard way. The choice is in your hands" Kash raises his voice.

My temper is the worst and if one annoying answer from his mouth comes after this, i will shut it by myself. The sound of this room is echoing and my shoes tapping on the floor impatiently was heard.

"Okay okay" he raised his hand defeated while smiling.

"What you guys want to know about that case? We already closed the case. We assassinated Neville Tyson" he continued.

"Liar" i said. In any second, i want to rip his heart off from that body of his.

"Tell us everything Alex!" Kash raises his voice.

"Why would i lie?! Ryder, you know that this damn case was given to us. We assassinated him as given from the task. Then, you asked us to not interfered with this case after you handle the debt part. Remember!?" He stomped his hand on the table. His face turns red because of anger.

"Don't accuse my team without any proof!! I fucking hate it!!"

Then, a gun was clicked behind me. Caleb and Adam is motioning the gun to Alex. The vibes in this room is tense and we as the underground assassins becomes used to it.

"Watch your mouth Alex. Look with who you're talking with" Caleb said darkly.

I looked at Alex expression in amusement and motioned them to lower their gun. I gave in a deep dark chuckle.

"Alex you know my time is gold right. Don't waste my time" i said deep.

I can feel he flattered a bit. Who are not afraid with me in the underground is digging a coffin for themselves. I am the legendary Zero after all.

"I said we already closed Neville-"

"There is a CCTV captured your team wrecked Neville Tyson family's house yesterday. Tyson son was badly injured and they demand for his daughter" Kash explained while sliding picture of CCTV to Alex.

He look at the picture one by one and his mouth is wide open,disbelief.

"This is a mistake. I closed that case. I didn't ordered them to go there" he put the picture down and looking into spaces.

"There is no mistake. CCTV won't lie, Alex. Are you going to take the responsibility? Your team hurt a local. What would you do as a team leader if your team did something wrong,Alex\~" i said serious.

"T-take responsibility" he said disbelief.

Then, suddenly a loud phone rang was heard and everyone is staring at me. It's my phone. I took my phone from my pocket and see who's calling.

Sabrina.

"Hello R-Ryder"

I heard a sob on the other line. My heart races immediately.

"What's wrong?" I asked worried. All of them are looking at me now. The tense in here is doubling.

"C-can i go home n-now...it's-it's my brother. H-he He called me. There's something h-happen at my house. Tsk. Tsk"

Her sob becomes harder. My heart boils like crazy. I want to kill someone. 'Thanks' to his big mouth of a brother. She knew about this.

"Please called Robert. He can drive you there. Please listen to me. I want Robert drive you there" i plead demand.

"There's no time. I-I need to go now. I promise i will called you once i'm there. Thank you...Ryder"

"I want my knuckle punch now!" I'm fucking in rage.

You messed with her, you messed with me. Caleb went out from the room and in few seconds he came in with my knuckle punch. It's gold-black. The moment i wore it, there is something that possessed inside of me. I don't know why i feel very much alive. I chuckle darkly and grin.

"You aware that this is the rules in the underground, Alex. One member suck, team leader take the responsibility, isn't it" i repeat.

"Yes" he said short.

I took off my blazer and my long sleeve shirts. I flexed my muscle. It's been awhile.

I lung to Alex and grab a fistful of his hair. He groan.

"I want to let you go this once, i want to show mercy for this once but Hades didn't let me huh?" I said between seethed teeth.

I punch him in the face multiple times and he groan in pain. Bloods fell down against his mouth and nose.

"Your team mess with the wrong person, Alex. Do you know who's Neville Tyson's daughter is?" I punch him again, non-stop at his stomach.

I gave him a one blow kick and he cough blood. He fell down on the ground and i squirt down to him. I pull his hair up.

"She is MINE" i gave him a one last kick. Alex being obedient not saying anything.

"You didn't know what your team member had done. So,i want to hunt your team members instead of you BUT she KNEW. So plan changed. I go to you first then..."i punch his face like crazy until his nose breaks.
