"Dr. Dr. Dr... can i go home now?" This sweet little girl chanting 'Dr.' fastly while showing her big eyes and pout to me. Her shiny black bangs and small fingers wrap around my arms.

She's Chloe and she's technically 6 next week. She's diagnosed with weak heart but it is not serious for now. She's been in the hospital for almost a month now, sometimes a week. In and out due to her condition. We are trying to find the most suitable heart donor for her.

I gave her a small laugh, "Soon, chloe"

She is so cute. She is sure clingy. Among all of them, she's the loudest one and craves more attention besides them all. I don't blame her, her parents marriage is at the end of the line. They're young but they love her very much. Her parents seldom visits her tho but this tough kid is fine because she has lots of friends here.

Suddenly, my cellphone vibrates and i jumped a little. My heartbeat becomes faster and I took out my phone from my pocket, looking frantically at this unknown number. Its a phone call.

I stared at the phone long enough and went out from the patients' room. What if the caller is the same as before. I'm so nervous and my heartbeats becomes louder and louder. I bit my lower lips and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Hey girl!!"

Wait what? This shrieking voice is so familiar. Then a light bulb ting! above me.

"Victoria!! Oh gosh. Is it you?"

Then a sweet annoying chuckle ringing my ears from across the line.

"Hey, you just arrived?! You didn't tell me you freaking idiot! Whats up with this new number. You freaking me out" I scold in relief.

I heard Chloe calling my name from inside and i immediately peak at the door, motion her to wait up. She quickly saw what i'm doing and say 'sorry'. I smile at her and went out back.

"I just got back today from Paris and i really want to surprise you all!! I bought this new number at the airport. Even my parents also didn't know that i'm back. Te-he. Girl, we really need to talk like right now. It's been months, you're good? Any hot stuff ahem ahem you know what i mean huh?"

She blabbering non stop and i roll my eyes. She never changed since high school. Always a loud gossip girl. I chuckle and my smile fades immediately when a certain event happened to me lately. I think i can talk to her about this. I've never told a single soul about this before. I sigh.

"I've been dying to talk to you Vic, but i'm working now. How about dinner? At usual?" I ask her praying that she could make it. I really need someone to talk too.

"Sure, no problemo. I cant wait to tell you all the details of my company's event fashion show at Paris. That bitch did set me up again, you know!" I laughed.

"Sure sure, see you tonight!"

Ryder POV

I'm at my office room, listening to all the conversation of her and this freaking loud woman. I pinch my forehead,cringe and adjusting my AirPods. Her friend is fucking loud for goodness sake, while glaring at my luxury mahogany gold table in-front of me, staring at the piles of workload that the old pervert left. I groan. He didn't did his job done! 

Isaac planned to kick him from his position because he knew that old geezer only wants his cock to be suck under this fucking table. It's just the matter of time. That's why he is insisting me to take the job. He trusts me. I cringed in disgust.

Am i sitting on his fucking stain ***?

I am so dealing with Isaac about changing all the furniture in this room. Few minutes later, they end the call and i take off my AirPod and turn off the device in-front of me. I stalk her. I have all of her information, incoming call, last call, call log, transactions, money in and out, tracking device on her phone by hacking it and others.

Her angelic voice lingers on my mind and i feel weird. It makes me feel...calm. I push my hair to the back lazily and faint sinister smirk came across my face.

"I'm so gonna get you"

I walk back and forth like a mad man, glancing at the online news. Ash is the new deputy minister of defence huh? It shocks us to know that he becomes a politician. It took ages to realise that his last name is fucking Alexander.

Since he joined the underground, he didn't say anything about him being the president's son and brother of the minister of defence. He really hide his identity. Heck! All identity of the underground members is confidential except Kash would know that. He's the computer underground guru here.

I cant do this anymore. I really want her. The moment i knew that Neville Tyson has a daughter, i want her. Its been years i had searched her. I joined the underground for a reason, few reasons.

One of them, is her. Kash gave us a piece of warning from Xavier. I despise him. Since he joined here, he took all the credits, not that i cared but it annoyed me.
