Brought back

One of them tried grabbing my arm, as he flung himself off a branch in my direction. He was about six foot, with scars all over his

body. Sorry for adding another one! I thought in my head. I jumped up, grabbing a branch above me, and stabbing his back with the stick. He lost his balance, and fell from the trees. The other men in the tree all looked panicked as he fell, they hurried down the tree, trying to save him.

I, too, climbed down the tree. I just need this to end! This crazy nightmare! I climbed down the tree swiftly, not noticing that the demon wolf was watching me the whole time. The ground was soft under my bare feet. The smell of grass and moss filled the air.

I started running along the beach while those beast in human form, were helping their wounded one. I held my stomach as another wave of pain fell over me. The sound of the waves started to sound distant, even though I was right next to the shore. The sand got in between my toes.

I kneeled on the damp sand, the pain came the more I ran. I put pressure on my chest wound, since it reopened. I heard more foot steps coming from behind me, so I tried running again. All my energy was spent earlier, so I fell on the ground, my arms holding me up.

I felt my mind slip into the darkness.

"Wake up already! Please!" Someone's screaming in my ears. I opened my eyes, but a huge headache washed over me. I grabbed my head, as if that would help. "He's awake!" I snap my eyes towards the voice. The kid from the plane was sitting next to me, the one that was talking to me.

"How did I get back here?" I looked around the familiar room, that I just escaped. I looked at him, still a little shocked. "Those people brought you back, after you ran away." He smiled innocently at me.

I looked around the room for the Demon wolf. After he confirmed that me running away wasn't a dream, then those wolves changing into humans are real too! "Hey, listen, we need to find a way to escape!" I hushed whispered to him.

"Leaving so soon?" I didn't even notice the guy sitting against the front of the bed. He had a worn down jigsaw puzzle in his hand. I had one similar to it when I was younger, but I lost it.

"Who are you?" I scooted back towards the back of my bed, creating as much distance between us that I could.

He had dark blue spiky hair, with baby blue eyes. His voice was deep, and commanding. He must have been a foot or two taller then me, if he was standing.

"They saved us, he's the one who brought you back from your little exploration on the island." The kid said cheerfully. "Island?!" I processed the information that the kid gave me. The demon wolf looking guy, just sat on the floor, watching us with cold eyes.
