■Leos Point of View□
"Is he going to be okay?"
"He has a concussion, he'll need to rest without any physical or mentally straining on his body"
"I understand"
Faint whispers were heard in the distance. I couldn't move, nor open my eyelids. But I was aware of my surroundings. A man was talking to an elderly woman somewhere nearby. I could only hear parts of their conversation.
Did I survive the plane crash? Did they send me to the hospital? It doesn t smell like a normal hospital, it smells of cinnamon and pine wood in here. Maybe they burnt a candle or something in here to cover up the sterilizing smell.
I suddenly felt something warm cupping my hand. It was so warn and soft, I tried holding onto it. But I couldn't. Darkness swept me off of my feet again, into a deep and dark slumber.
"Mnnh..." I slowly brought up my hand, and rubbed my tired eyes. My eyes shot open, waking up to a weird environment. It looked like the walls would crumble down any minute, vines and weeds grew on the cracks on the wall. Holes shown some sunlight threw them. It reminds me of a scene in a movie I watched. Where humans went extinct, and all the buildings were falling apart due to the failure of them being well kept.
I almost jumped, if not for feeling like lead, seeing some kind of wolf laying on the floor besides my the bed I was sleeping on.
I threw my feet over the edge of the bed, trying not to make a sound. I was half n.ked, my pants still in tact. Bandages crossed my chest and back, reaching over my left shoulder. Some parts of my arms were bandaged too. I'm not feeling any pain, so they probably gave me something strong.
I need to get out of here, before that wolf wakes up. Who keeps wolves besides patients?! I walked through the door way, that had no door attached to its hinges. When I was about to step out, a loud growl erupted.
I slowly turned around, seeing the wolf awoken. Time to run! I started running around the almost fallen down building I was kept in. I was on the second floor, running from a wolf that's hot on my heels. I looked for every possible escape. One option caught my attention. As I was running down the hall, there was one room that still had a door. I swung the door open, slamming it behind me.
Half of the room was missing, exposing the forest outside of it. A tree that wasn't too far, caught my attention. The wolf's pounding footsteps came closer. Not even thinking about, I got a running head start, wincing at the pain surging through my body. The pain killers are wearing off. I jumped through the air, landing on a thick tree branch.
The door smashed in, as the huge wolf was looking straight at me. My chances were slim if I went down on the ground. All wolves travel in packs, so there has to be more of them around.
