Dogs could bite!

It was a rainy night, around ten pm. A middle aged man in his office uniform was walking down the streets carrying his laptop case without any umbrella.

He seemed to have been drunk as he was staggering, he could fall anytime considering how slippery the ground was since its raining.

"-SPLASH!"

And thats exactly what happens. He slips and falls head-on to the ground.

-"Hic."

He hics as he's still drunk. The man tries lifting himself up but to no avail, as he's too drunk to do so. Which is why he at least lifts his head up.

Upon lifting his head a bit, he notices a black dog in front of him, who seemed to have been eating something.

"Ah. What is a cute puppy like you doing here at such a rainy night?"

The drunk man mistakes the dog for a puppy. The dog suddenly stops eating as he hears the man calling out for him.

"Huh?"

"Grrrrrrrrr!"

Lifting his head up, and turning it back, the dog stares at the drunk man, grunting at him with clear blood lust.

"What!"

The drunk man exclaims in fear, he tries to get up as fast as possible, and so he does. Now preparing to run back.

It's revealed that the dog's eyes were gleaming red, and his mouth was covered in blood. As the man takes a closer look behind the dog he realizes that the dog was eating one of his own kind.

"What the hell is this!"

The drunk man said. Fear catches him and he prepares to run back but with no success as the demon like dog jumps upon the drunk man splashing blood all across the road.

The man's horrified cries could be heard miles away.

"-BEEP-BEEP BEEP-BEEP!"

The alarm kept on the table beside my bed kept beeping, but I was too sleepy to get my hand out of the blanket and turn it off.

It's seven in the morning and I'm still sleeping, yet another day for school.

"-STEP STEP"

I didn't feel like getting up from my bed, but upon hearing those loud footsteps outside of my room I knew what was coming for me.

"-Bang!"

"Rise and shine brother Yan! It's morning!"

It was my sister who entered into my room kicking the door like usual. She's much more efficient then any alarm clock.

She has silver and short hair, along with blue eyes, she usually wears a blue school blazer, a white Shirt under that, a blue scarf wrapped around her neck and brown skirt.

I didn't flinch a bit, as I was deep in my slumber.

"....."

My sister stares at me with a straight face, and this is when the main part starts.

"-Seems like I'll need to use brute force again."

She said after puffing a sigh. Slowly walking backwards, she runs toward me with all her speed and jumps on top of me.

"WAKE UP!"

"-COUGH!"

She landed her legs straight on my stomach then jumps back on the floor making a victorious smug and sign with her hand.

I sit up while holding my stomach and teary eyes, then face her-

"-GIVE ME A BREAK ALREADY YOU BARABARIAN!"

"It's your fault for not waking up! Besides I heard idiots don't feel pain."

I glare at her angrily but soon puff a sigh and scratch my head, as I didn't want to waste my breathe and energy.

"Aargh fine!"

Throwing the blanket away, I get off from my bed as my sister watched me walk out of the room.

Her name is Wei Xia, and she's a year younger then me.

My name is Yan Xia, I have blonde hair and sparkly orange eyes. I'm tall but I've got a baby face (That's what others say about me.) I usually wear a key around my neck, my dad said that my mother used to wear the same key around her neck too and I look just like her which is why he gave it to me.

Our mother passed away when we were too young to even remember.

Since then our father has been working hard to take care of both of us.

I walk down stairs and go to the restroom to fresh up.

A few moments have passed and I walk into the kitchen where I see my dad sitting in front of the dining table, reading news paper.

Ran Xia, my dad is a handsome looking man with black hair and rectangle face. He has black eyes and sharp nose. His usual outfit is a white shirt and black pants.

In front of him was a cup of black coffee along with an empty plate, which indicates he has done his breakfast.

Wei was sitting on the chair beside him, gulping down the toasted bread along with warm milk

"Oh you're finally up." Said my father looking up at me while holding the news paper with both of his hands.

"Yeah, I am" I said as I sit on the chair to start digging into my meal.

"You might get late for school."

"Don't worry, I won't."

"He's used to hear scoldings from his teacher" said my sister with a smug.

I glare at my sister who's so energetic, despite of it being early morning.

"So what do you plan to do now?" my dad asked me while looking at his news paper.

"Yeah, I am" I said as I sit on the chair to start digging into my meal.

"You might get late for school."

"Don't worry, I won't."

"He's used to hear scoldings from his teacher" said my sister with a smug.

I glare at my sister who's so energetic, despite of it being early morning.

"So what do you plan to do now?" my dad asked me while looking at his news paper.

"What?" I ask him back with a confused face.

"It's may, you usually have your school trips during this month don't you?"

"Oh yeah I totally forgot that. The teacher announced it will be held after two weeks."

"Oh."

"But I don't plan on going this time."

"Why? But you would always usually look forward to it!" my sister asked me, a little surprised.

"I don't feel like going this time."

"I see." said my father.

My sister picks up the remote kept beside her plate and turns the TV on while still eating.

"You shouldn't watch TV while eating." said my father to Wei.

"It's fine!"

"-Next up, Another minced meat murder case has been found in the XXX street near Lan Qi'e park. The victim has been as-" the news anchor on TV.

"Geez. Another murder?" said my sister a little creeped out.

"These killers are getting out of hand, I don't understand why someone would even do such a thing!" I said.

"This makes it the sixteenth time doesn't it?" asked my sister.

"Nope, it's the seventeenth if you include this one."

My dad didn't say a word as he was busy reading the news paper.

"Anyways brother, I've got something for you~"

"Something for me?"
