She instantly pulls out my driver's license paper.
Ariana
You should put it somewhere safe
Young Zoe
Oh, absolutely. Thank you. I was actually looking for it. But, I had forgotten that I had kept it there
I said. Except for a smile, Arina said nothing.
She stared at me, and I could tell she was confident that I wouldn't be able to make eye contact with her.
Ariana
Where do you live, Zoe?
I was happy because I was attempting to communicate with her. So I said,
Young Zoe
I live here, too, and our directions are the same.
Ariana
I see, so you're a student, right?
Young Zoe
You're a newcomer, right?
She laughed and shifted her gaze to the other side.
I asked once more. She said to me
Ariana
Zoe, you're so impatient. Relax, you'll find out soon enough
