Chapter 3

"Grandpa Wei, you should come with me to my manor. It's safer there" Kier said.

Compared to the suburbs, the downtown and the University was the most dangerous zone when the apocalypse appeared. The otherworldly creatures that descended the earth went to places where the population was dense. That is why the downtown and university became dangerous due to its large amount of population.

Grandpa Wei nodded and packed his things and Nate's. Once they were done packing, they immediately left and Kier dropped them off at his manor.

He instructed grandpa Wei to buy alot of foods using his card. He could comfortably left that task to Grandpa Wei since granpa Wei has alot of experience and knew alot of people since he was once the butler of the Durante Clan. As for the weapons such as knives, blades, swords and bows, he will buy it personally. Kier prefered this weapons because it did not require amunations and he could transform the bow so it could use stones instead of arrows. As for the guns, he would only buy a few since it would be useless once the rank 2 creatures, mutants and races appear.

Kier went to a specialty store where they sell weapons such as swords and knives. At first the owner did not want to sell to him, especially since he said he would buy all of the weapons in their store. The owner thought that the man in front of him was joking but when he saw the money he immediately shut up.

"Bring them to this location" Kier said as he handed a piece of paper.

The owner was happy seeing the amount of money that was transferred to his bank account.

"Of course, I will deliver it as fast as I can" the owner happily said. He was so happy that he feels like he's in cloud 9.

Kier went to a clothing store next. He bought alot of clothes that was suitable for extreme conditions and clothes that was comfortable to move to. He did not know the accurate sizes of his friends, grandpa wei, nate and his sister, so he just bought all of it. Allmost all of the clothing store in the street was emptied by Kier.

In his time in the apocalypse, in the early days, he only has one pair of clothes and he had worn it for almost a year. Now that he has a chance to have a lot of spare clothes, he wouldn't miss it. He could just throw all of it in his necklace for safe keeping. His necklace is a spacial equipment that has an infinite amount of space. He did not know if all of his equipment from his past life was still in there, but hopefully once he could open it, the equipments would be there. It could immediately boost his strength to a terrifying degree. There was alot of special and rare herbs in there as well as energy cores that are essential for boosting strength and ability.

Kier didn't immediately went back or go to other places but enjoyed the view of the city. The city was very peaceful and calm, but it will change once the cataclysm arrive. The city will be plunged in chaos. Zombies and other worldly creatures will descend the earth, corpes will be a common sight in the streets. Beast and mutants wandered the city, killing all people and hostile being in its path.

*bzzt* bzzt*

A vibration waked Kier from his toughts. The sound was coming from his phones in his pocket. He quickly took it out and looked at the screen to see what it was.

It was a message from his half older sister, Lai.

"Please call me as soon as you see this"

Kier immediately knew what was happening. His sister's boyfriend was cheating on her. That mother fuc*er boyfriend of her's was a second generation rich kid named Yi Tian.

His blood boiled at the taught of Yi Tian. That piece of sh*t was the reason why his sister died at the beginning of the apocalypse. Kier's sister saved Yi Tian from the zombies that was after him and she was exhausted from the consumption of her energies for using her power. Instead of helping her when another swarm of zombies was coming, Yi Tian pushed her in the direction of zombies to use as a distraction for him to run away and survive.

Kier suppressed himself from going to that bastard's house and killing him. Now is not the time for that. He needed to prepare and warn his loved ones for the upcoming chaos that was about to descend. But before that, he still needs to console his sister. As for Yi Tian, he will deal with him later on.

*Ring~ Ring~*

A slight frown fromed from Kier's handsome face. His sister was not answering her phone. Maybe he didn't call her immediately and she's crying her heart out away from her phone?

He called her again but she still did not pick up the phone. He immediately went to her house which was located at the heart of the city. A few minutes later he was standing at the door of his sister's house. Good thing he knew the password of the house. Once the door opened, Kier went in and saw his sister at the sofa, sleeping.

"I thought something happened" a sigh of relief came out of his mouth.

In his last life, he did not have the chance to know what happened because he did not opened or touched his phone until later that night. He only learned of what happened when he came by as soon as he saw the message.

His sister was sleeping soundly at the sofa, looking extremely exhausted and even though her eyes were closed, the puffiness could still be seen. He carried her and lied her in her room.

Kier cooked some pork stew. He hadn't eaten yet since he woke up early in the morning. He was eating when the door of his sister's bedroom opened.

"Want to eat?" kier asked his sister. "On second thought, you should really eat. You look awful" kier said.

"Are you not gonna asked what happened?" Lai said as she seated at the chair, looking gloomy and at a loss.

"I could already guess what happened... Based on your look" as he said that, Lai immediately cried. Tears streaming down her face continuously without pause.

Kier sighed as he hugged and comforted his sister. This was not the time for this, but he couldn't bear to see his sister like this. He will definitely kill that Yi Tian if the situation presents itself.

After his sister calmed down, he recounted to her what he said to grandpa Wei about the apocalypse. Although Big sister Lai was nodding and looks like she was listening the whole time, she was really not listening at all. Kier rubbed his temples as he stared at his listless sister. He sighed once more and urged his sister to move to the manor with him. She just looked at him for awhile then nodded.
