Breezy night

As Miranna was lost in her thoughts staring intensely at Ronald, Ronald felt someone's gaze at him and he moved his eyes to look at Miranna. She was totally lost in her thoughts and had a calm and serious face on and this made Ronald blush. He quickly turned his face around to not to be noticed. Miranna came to her senses and saw Ronald turn his face away.

"Is something wrong?"she asked with a worried expression.

"No" he tried to hide his face.

"Let me look. Did something go into your eye? Why did you suddenly turn your face away?"Miranna reached out her hands towards his face when suddenly Ronald grabbed her hand and answered," I am fine. Why don't you go check on your brother? I think I heard him calling you." He turned her around.

"Okay." Miranna looked perplexed and went away. Ronald turned his face and gave a sigh of relief as Miranna did not notice his embarrassing side.

Miranna went away but she immediately turned around to see what was the matter. She saw Ronald's blushing face and thought how cute he was and got mesmerized by his cuteness. She then quickly went away so as not to let him know that she saw him or else it would have been embarrassing and awkward for him.

Then they all ate their snacks together. While eating Miranna did not mention about seeing him blushing and only stared at him and kept smiling.

They all went to the study room for studying and doing their school assignments. Miranna was telling Ronald how much they had been taught and making him aware of the dates of the tests. Soon her mother arrived. Her father was away from the state for work. They had dinner together and got ready to sleep.

There were only two bedrooms- one in which her mother and little brother slept and the other in which Miranna slept for she liked to sleep in her room. Miranna was asked to give the other room for Ronald to sleep and she was to sleep with them. Miranna refused and her mom started scolding her but she was too stubborn to come out of her comfort zone.

"It ok aunty. I can sleep on the sofa or the floor," said Ronald politely for he didn't want to trouble Miranna anymore and make them argue.

Her mother gave a sigh and said,"Sorry that my daughter is so stubborn." She gave him some pillows and blankets to him.

They all went to sleep. Miranna kinda felt guilty and sad for Ronald. She thought about it for a long time and regretted about her behaviour. She thought of apologising in the morning.

At around 2 at night, Ronald woke up to drink some water. He once passed by Miranna's room and saw that some light was coming from there. He went inside the room to check on her as the door was not closed.

"Hey are you awake?" asked Ronald.On hearing his voice she quickly shut her phone and closed her eyes.

"I know you are pretending to sleep. I saw you awake just now," asked Ronald poking her cheeks.

"All right I am awake. Stop poking my cheeks.." she opened her eyes and sat up moving to the side giving him space to sit. He sat down and looked at her asking her," So what were you doing awake so late at night?"

She hesitated a bit and then replied," Nothing much I was seeing something on my phone."

"Oh what is so important that you must watch it now?"

Knowing that they both liked watching anime she said, "Anime and reading some manga. Hehe"

"You.. do you know what time is it now? We have school tomorrow remember? We have to wake up early." He looked at her with furrowed eyebrows.

"Its ok.. I just woke up half an hour earlier and I will remember to sleep by 4 and wake up by 6. Do not worry. Please do not tell anyone else and do not be angry," She acted cute.

He gave a sigh and told her to sleep then and he will wake her by 4. She was pouting and said," Why don't you watch with me? It is interesting." He looked at it and indeed it was interesting. He agreed to her but told her she only had an hour more. They both lay on the bed and started seeing the anime.

More than an hour had passed and they didn't realise that so much time had passed. Miranna started yawning and the cool breeze that blew through the windows made her more sleepy. Ronald too was tired and his eyes were almost half closed. Both fell asleep.

In the morning, both awoke to the loud alarm and noticed Miranna's mother was already awake and looking at them with an angry face waiting for answers. Miranna and Ronald looked at each other and then realised that they had been sleeping together on the bed.

Ronald quickly started to explain their current situation," Aunty please do not worry. I just came here to check on her and then I don't know when I fell asleep beside her. Sorry for my rude behaviour." He bowed his head.

Miranna looked at Ronald with a worried expression and looked at her mother once and replied," Mom please do not worry. Nothing happened at night and I invited him to answer some doubts for my tests which I remembered at night and didn't realise when we both fell drowsy and fell asleep." Ronald was surprised to see her take the blame.

Her mother gave a sigh and said," Its ok.. I get it. I believe you both. I believe Ronald is not a bad boy to burden you and us. Get up and get ready for school. Miranna wake your brother. I am going to cook." Saying this she went to the kitchen.

Miranna and Ronald gave a sigh of relief as for one moment they didn't know how to explain it to her mom. They both smiled at each other and Ronald got out of the room.

Miranna realising she had slept together with a boy other than her family members her face became red with embarrassment when she suddenly thought," My mom seems to believe in him a lot more than I thought. I wonder how did he make her believe in him so much. Till now she would never had allowed me to date someone leave alone living together, getting engaged and even sleeping in the same room with a boy of my age."

While she was lost in her thoughts, Ronald came in and told her he woke Lon up. He gave her a princely smile and said," Get ready quickly ore no ohime sama (japanese words for 'my princess') or else we will get late."
