haldi is also there we apply turmeric on bride and groom as it is anti bacterial and good for skin it also has a deeper meaning you can interpret it in anyway but according to what my mumma told me it means now bride and groom are coloured with the love of each other which like haldi makes skin glow may their love make their lives glow
