Chapter 1

It was a rainy night, the whole city was under power cut.Birthday Girl Cara who became 13 that night was sitting beside her bed while teasing her aunt's hair with one hand and caressing her face with other.Her aunt was reading a story book for Cara.Cara had brown eyes,silver straight hair and sharp jaw line, pale skin and plump pink lips as if god made her particularly. Even though she did not had angelic beauty but it was sure enough to turn heads down. Not only she was beautiful but also intelligent.And she had bright personality that could charm a way in your heart. If she passed by someone, she would surely get a compliment like "God has it's favourite". But little did She knew her well arranged life would soon be taking  360° turn. But Always remembet If God has it's favourites then God surely has some reasons for it because not everybody is meant for certain things. And there is this "destiny" from which you can't run.

"Its finished"her aunt Cara closed the book and gets her head up from car's lap.

"Well yah"

And yes Sarcasm is her main weapon.

"Cara?"

"Yes Aunt."

"Why are not you happy ?!" Her aunt Stacy asked while caressing her back.

"No. I'm happy" Cara continued with a disappointment in voice "I am just thinking why did mom and dad are taking so long."

I understood Cara" her aunt held her hand and continued "we belong to middle class cara and each-

-and every middle class family has to send at least 2 members to attend the 'The Blue hour Festival' in two years gap." Cara finished for her.

"Yes". Her aunt Stacy continued" so they are going to be late"

"But what is the blue hour Festival based on?!" Cara asked making puppy eyes.

"And what about a stitch in time saves nine ?" Cara thought of answering logically but shrugged it off

"That puppy eyes will not work on me" her aunt continued " remember the proverb 'Little knowledge is dangerous' ?"

"You just do one thing" Cara said while glaring her aunt.

"What?" Stacy demanded.

"keep on insisting" she then stuck her tounge out at her aunt.

"Behave Cara Mia" her aunt demanded "Now its time to go to the bed so just sleep now."

"Well Good night Aunt" and saying that to her aunt Cara laid herself on the bed and hugged her teddy bear tight.

"Well good night Cara" upon saying that her aunt Stacy left the room.

But suddenly Cara got up from the bed and mumbled " You think you can keep it secret Aunt"

Then she took out a book from underneath a pillow.
