Pistanthrophobia (Ongoing)
3
He was the most painfully attractive person Ian had ever seen. Ian didn’t know why, but he was actually attracted to that àsshòlè—probably because of his looks—but he had no clue when or what exactly he liked about him.
Hunter is a bad guy—he skips classes, bullies other students, especially Ian, and is violent. Those are just three of the many red flags he shows. He’s the school’s quarterback in football, which earns him bonus points with the little-brained girls all over campus.
Hunter was more than just a bad guy—he was one of the most popular students on campus. Half of his fame came from his bad behavior: skipping classes, bullying, and stirring up trouble wherever he went. But the other half came from how flawlessly he played his role as the star quarterback of the football team. His athletic skill earned him respect and admiration, making him almost untouchable.
With that reputation, he could bait any girl he wanted—and even boys, if he chose to. Who wouldn’t want to be with someone like him? Well, Ian was definitely not one of them. Mainly because Hunter always targeted him with relentless bullying and cruel jokes, making any thought of admiration impossible.
Ian
**d-did i do something wrong?**
Ian
**I can feel him that he's really mad...**
Ian
** I've never seen him this angry before, what do i do, I'm scared...** (mentally crying)
Hunter
turn the fúck around....(whispers venomously)
Ian
I-I...(stammers nervously)
Hunter
I said, turn around...(pissed)
Ian
(tears starting to form in his eyes)
Ian
**Please don't cry please don't cry please don't cry...** (slowly turning around)
As soon as Ian faced Hunter, he suddenly realized how incredibly close they were—literally inches apart. He slowly looked up, trembling, trying to meet the man’s eyes, only to immediately regret it the moment their piercing gazes locked.
Hunter
Why the hell did you write your name on my test paper...
Ian
**Oh god, how could I be that stupid!! **
Ian
I-I, d-d-don't know wha–
Hunter
stop stuttering for fùck's sake!!
Hunter
just tell me why did you fùcking do that!!
Ian
(shaking uncontrollably)
Ian
I-I d-don't know...(about to cry)
Hunter’s anger was so fierce that Ian could see the veins bulging on his forehead, pulsing with raw fury. Ian knew exactly why Hunter was furious—he’d made a careless mistake. Ian had stupidly written his own name on Hunter’s test paper, and the teacher must’ve realized Hunter hadn’t actually done the test himself—that he’d handed it off to Ian to answer.
With that knowledge weighing on him, Ian’s mind raced with silent prayers, terrified that Hunter would finally lose control and hurt him. For a tense moment, nothing happened. Ian cautiously opened his eyes, only to find Hunter waiting, his expression dark and unreadable.
Without warning, Hunter’s fist shot forward like a striking snake, aimed straight at the side of Ian’s face.
The force of the punch slammed Ian back against his locker, the metal cracking and warping under the impact—half destroyed and groaning from the blow. Ian’s breath hitched as shock and fear washed over him, draining the color from his face until he was nearly ghostly pale. The intensity of his terror was so palpable that even Hunter’s own friends exchanged uneasy glances, convinced Ian must have been knocked out cold.
Clark
He looks fúcking pale!!
Hunter
shut up Clark! (Snarls)
Diego
don't interrupt him, he's really mad...(whispers at Clark)
Clark
yeah, I'm kinda worried on that nerd...(whispers back)
Hunter
Now speak...geek (venomous)
Ian was still trembling uncontrollably, his fear of facing Hunter growing stronger by the second—he knew Hunter was seriously angry right now. As the confrontation escalated, more and more students slowly gathered, filling the hallway with curious eyes and hushed whispers. The crowd’s silent attention made Ian’s heartbeat skyrocket, his nerves and fear tightening their grip on him like a vise.
Ian
(looking everywhere while breathing rapidly)
Hunter tried to get Ian’s attention, but he failed miserably—Ian was caught in the grip of a full-blown panic attack. Surprisingly, despite his usual anger and toughness, Hunter felt a flicker of concern. This was the first time he’d ever seen Ian like this, so vulnerable and overwhelmed, and it unsettled him more than he expected.
Hunter
Hey!!! (Shakes him hard)
After gritting his jaw, Hunter surprised himself by roughly grabbing Ian’s hand and dragging him away from the crowded hallway. Ian was utterly stupefied—understandably so—since it was his first time experiencing any normal physical contact from the man, and on top of that, he was Still trapped in the throes of his panic.
Hunter
(stops and releases Ian on his grip)
Hunter
now, you're coming with me...(stern)
Hunter didn’t answer. Instead, he smirked as he opened the basement door. Ian followed silently, and as the dim light swallowed the room, his mind began to flash with shadows of a dark memory creeping back to the surface.
Ian
i-it's d-dark...(whispers shakily)
