Accepted in Idol Star School!

Nari and Jin followed their routine and practiced everyday. It was really hard for Nari but she tried her best.The audition was right around the corner and they couldn’t spare another moment. Jin helped Nari as much as he could within a month and in return, Nari took him as the ‘cult master’ and did everything he asked. A month has gone by quick and today’s the audition for Idol Star School!

“Jin,do you really think I can do it?” Nari asked nervously. Nari and Jin were in the waiting area and Nari was going to go after someone else goes. Most of the students from Idol Star School also went to see the audition.

“If you believe in yourself, you could do it” Jin said assured.

“O-ok, thank you” Nari said shivering on her seat.

“Why’re you thanking me you dummy, you better go up there and do a nice performance. Don’t let all my hard work go to waste” Jin said smiling and crossing his arms.

“Haha, I’ll try my best” Nari said laughing.

“Hey! I’m being serious right now!” Jin said.

“I know I know” Nari continued laughing. “Huh? What’re they saying?” A group of girls walked into the waiting area. Many students started talking about them.

“Isn’t that Hera from BestGirls?”

“Yeah,it is! She’s an excellent singer and dancer from Idol Star School but she dropped out last year for an unknown reason”

“Hera’s back and so is her team!”

“Wow, I feel bad for whoever’s going after the BestGirls ( name of their group ) because the BestGirls always make an excellent performance!”

Nari started shivering. She was no.206 and the Hera ( the leader of the BestGirls ) was no.205.

Jin noticed Nari’s shivers and let out a sigh.

“Don’t listen to them, you’re gonna do just fine” he said with a cold attitude to make sure Nari doesn’t take it the wrong way.

The BestGirls finished their performance and expectedly passed without hesitation. It was Nari’s turn now.

“Next up, Nari-Yun! Please come into the audition room” one of the judges yelled from inside the room.

Nari froze. She did not want to do it, what if she failed Jin and couldn’t pass. He would be so disappointed and she would be so embarrassed and regretful. She didn’t move and started trembling. Her whole body became numb and cold.

“Nari-Yun! Please come into the audition room or you’ll be disqualified!”one of the judges yelled again.

Nari first looked at the door which was on her right and then to Jin who was on her left. He didn’t say anything and had a disappointed look.

“Nari-Yun,this is the last time I’m calling you or you’re going to be disqualified!” The judges said once again. The students all started talking.

Nari took a deep breath and walked in. “Hello, I-I’m Nari Yun”

Nari started singing all that Jin had thought her. After she was done the judges discussed amongst themselves. After they were done,they looked at Nari and smiled. “Congratulations Ms.Nari-Yun, you are now accepted in our Idol Star School. We wish you the best of luck”one of the judges said. Though it’s not usually how people enroll in schools, Nari was very happy. She went to one of the Judges to collect her uniform, she sighed of relief and went back to Jin who was waiting in the waiting area.

“Jin I-”

“I know” Jin smiled without looking at her. “I told you my hard work never goes to waste”he said proudly.

“You did? When? I don’t remember you saying anything about it” Nari said with het finger on her lips pretending like she’s trying too recall that moment.

“You—shut up you! I’m trying to have a moment here” Jin said angrily.

“Ok ok, I’ll buy you your favorite wanton soup to celebrate my victory for getting accepted in Idol Star!” Nari said all cheerful.

“What victory? This is just the beginning of all your problems” Jin said.

“What do you mean?” Nari asked.

“Nvm, now lets get that wanton soup! The last one to the bus station is a rotten egg!” Jin exclaimed. Just as Jin was about to turn around to leave, Nari had already gone.
