Better than yesterday

“Jin,I’m tired. I can’t do it anymore. Can we continue tomorrow?” Nari said wiping off the sweat.

“Sing the song one more time” Jin said resting on his bed.

“Over the night sky\~”

“Shining so bright\~”

“How was it?” Nari asked nervously. Jin sat there and thought of something for a while than said,”Hmm...not bad but if you want to enroll in idol star school,you’ll have to do better. Overall, you did good today. I give you a 65/100 but to go to our school, you’ll need at least a 90/100. Come down again tomorrow 8:00 am. It’s Saturday tomorrow so you should be able to make it.”

“What!? 8:00 am? B-but I always sleep until 12:00 pm on the weekends! This is not fair! Waaaah! I’m gonna tell my parents!” Nari said.

Jin slapped his forehead, “Stop acting like a little kid,if you want to do it or not,it’s up to you but remember, it’s your loss if you can’t enter the Idol Star school” Jin said. “Come tomorrow if you still want to go to Idol Star School.” Jin said shooing her away with his hands.

In Nari’s room

“Hmph! Who does he think he is to shoo me away like a pesky fly! I better sleep now or I won’t be able to wake up for practice in the morning” Nari said. She took out her phone and set an alarm on it and then put it beside her bed. She went to the bathroom and brushed her teeth then closed the door and then turned of the light. She has been so exhausted today. It’s hard for a person to sing when they’re tone deaf. But Nari managed well,sorta(not really).

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

The alarm went of. Nari woke up and had breakfast. Her parents hadn’t woken up yet so she had to make it by herself. She walked in the kitchen and couldn’t believe what she saw. She rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn’t imagining things. IT WAS JIN COOKING BREAKFAST! Nari could feel her soul leave her body.

“Morning Nari” he said smiling at her.

Nari was so confused. He wasn’t the same Jin from yesterday but rather,the Jin from the day he moved in. This man is two faced! “Morning Jin” Nari replied taking a seat. Jin served her her breakfast and sat infront of her. Nari took a bite and it was out of this world! She could taste the various different flavors and she could feel the sweetness in it. She never tasted anything like it.

“Wow,this is good! You’re good husband material” Nari said enjoying her food.

“Ah-haha, I just learned a few basic cooking while living by myself. Nothing special” Jin said blushing. “Finish up quickly or we’re going to be late,it’s already 7:50” Jin said.

“Aww...but,but I want to enjoy this meal and I want it to last a little longer” Nari said.

“I’ll make breakfast for you tomorrow” Jin blushed again.

“Oh really?Ok! Thank you!” Nari finished up quickly and helped Jin to wash all the dishes.

In the basement

“Good,keep practicing and you’ll do great” Jin said.

“O-ok”said Nari.

Jin helped Nari practice all the way until lunch time.

“Jin,Nari,come upstairs for lunch” said Nari’s mother. “Ok mother,coming” Nari said to her mother. She turned to Jin, “Come on,aren’t you going to have lunch with us?”

“No, I’m not hungry. You go eat,you’ve worked hard today” Jin smiled.

“Alright, what’s my score for today Mr.Jin?” Asked Nari waiting for a reasonable score.

“67/100” Jin replied.

“What!?How can that be possible! You said I did good but I only scored 2 more points than yesterday!” Nari complained.

“Ha. When I said you’ve worked hard, I meant you’ve worked harder than yesterday” Jin said.

“Uhh...Whatever!” Nari said storming out the basement.

Jin chuckled, “cute.”
