Meeting Mate

Everyone waited nervously for the Natural Pack to arrive and attack. After the barrier was built and the traps were set up, I sent all the weary civilians to retreat in houses away from the front line. Adam and I are standing on top of the flat barrier, while the twenty men are hiding in the forest or supporting the traps.

At about four in the afternoon, men on horses came into view. A handsome man with spiky black hair and green eyes, caught my attention. This never happened before. I never felt attracted to anyone else like I am to him. His musky body was well built. I looked up to see that we made eye contact. Even though I wore a mask, I felt his piercing gaze see through it. Like I was standing before him *****. Him and his men came to a halt a few yards away. "Like what we did with the place?" I called out, with a mocking grin spreading on my face. He had about forty men behind him. The handsome guy spoke, bringing my attention back to him. "I was ordered by the Natural Packs Queen to take over this village. Will you comply or not? We will use force if necessary." His voice was deep and sexy as he finished talking. I ignored his words, which made him sound like a lifeless loyal dog. When the wind blew on my back, confusion filled his eyes as he stared at me. "Take off your mask, and we'll have a peaceful talk." His men were all shocked due to his sudden change in attitude and behavior. "You'll try to take this village from the White pack, if not today, then another day, so there is no point for me to take off my mask." I stated, confused why he would ask this of me. "Then let's make a deal." He said. "If you spend a night with me, I'll let your village go, if you refuse, I'll take you and your village." He stated, as he watched my every move.

"With me here, you won't be able to take this village." I glared at him and added. "And if you you somehow get that night with me, I guarantee you won't last an hour." Amusement danced across his face. This conversation is annoying me, I thought. I turned towards Adam and said, "Tell your men to start the first wave of attack."

I turned back towards the guy with that annoying amused look on his face. I drew my bow, aiming at his head.

"Im a little offended" He said, still staying calm with an arrow pointed at his head. "Im no **********, and you don't have a chance at defeating me. Especially in bed." Disgust spread across my face, as I imagined how many girls he forced to sleep with him. My killing intent only got stronger.

I guess he could sense it too. "Doll, even if you have an arrow pointed at my head, you have to be able to shoot me to kill me." I snickered at his remark. "I trust my skills."

I shot the arrow, it cut threw the wind, about to hit it's target. To mine and Adams surprise, he easily blocked it with a gray metallic dagger. "Well, not many survived my arrow. Tell me your name." I demanded. He returned my demand with a chuckle. "And not many people don't recognize me." I squinted at his arrogant self. What kind of perv did i get involved with?! "Im Dustin, Dustin Black. You may also know me by Dezba."

Sorry, not really, but, don't know nor care even of you are the queen herself." I could sense he was a little taken aback by this. A smile dared to cross my lips.
