Episode 4 Oh No, I'm Going To Be Late!

On the day of the interview, Li Xiu woke up early to get ready.

She was feeling very nervous, thinking whether she would pass or not.

Li Xiu went to LemonPeach cafe to buy herself breakfast.

She buys her favourite lemon peach drink and two hot banana milk pancakes.

Then, she goes to a table and eats her breakfast.

When Li Xiu went outside of the cafe, she suddenly saw a grandpa tripping over a rock.

She immediately goes over to the grandpa to help him stand.

“ Are you okay sir?” asked Li Xiu as she helped him stand.

“Yes, thank you for helping me, my dear.” said the grandpa.

“ Do you need help to bring you somewhere, sir? Li Xiu asked politely.

“ The grandpa smiles and says, “ It’s okay, my dear. One of my drivers will pick me up any time soon. I wish my grandson was as nice as you. You would be a great match for my grandson.

But that brat is always cold towards me.” said the grandpa.

Li Xiu got embarrassed so she smiled awkwardly. “ Thank you, sir.” said Li Xiu. Li Xiu suddenly realizes that she has an interview to go to. “ Well, sir, if you’re fine then I need to get going.  I have an interview today.”says Li Xiu.

“ Well why don’t I help you give a ride there as a thank you?” asks the grandpa.

  Suddenly an expensive BMW car stops in front of them.

 “ Here, my car has come.” said the grandpa.

Li Xiu was dazed by how the weak looking grandpa owns a luxurious car. Well to be honest,

Li Xiu wasn't that surprised to see an expensive car, since she owned many expensive cars before everything was taken away by her brother-in-law. But even so, Li Xiu loves cars that shimmers out of cleanness.

“ Never judge a person by their appearance,” came up to her mind. She learned the real meaning of the saying after she saw the grandpa. Then, she looked at her watch and thought to herself, “I should probably ask the gramps to drive me there. I’m going to be late if I walk there.”

“ Thank you, sir. Can you drive me to maple street XXXXX house?” said Li Xiu.

The grandpa was surprised.

“ Hmm, interesting. Now I’m really interested in where this girl’s fate belongs. I have a hunch that something might happen between that brat of mine and this girl. I hope that brat won’t be harsh to her.

They both talked to each other until they arrived.

“ We’re here,” the grandpa says.

“ Thank you so much, sir,” said Li Xiu.

The grandpa drives his car to the back of the house.

“Wow! Such a huge house. I never thought that person would be very rich. They didn’t even mention these in the poster. *Smirk\, Smirk* Lucky me now\, I will surely become a maid no matter what. I need this job. The Li's daughter won’t lose to anyone.” Li Xiu thought to herself.
