CHAPTER 4: Zeze?

Minutes have passed and it is almost their last subject for the day... Cain came back, dumbfounded by Blaize's statement. Cain was shocked to know that Blaize came back earlier than them.

Cain knew that even his brother Bleu and his parents wouldn’t know that he came here earlier than expected.

Cain was thinking so hard that he didn’t notice Lan came back. Lan was looking at him and smiling under his hood at the same time.

“I guess I need to use my observation skill to know where he is hiding,” Cain said to himself as a motivation. While talking to himself he noticed that the guy next to him or you could say Lan suddenly laughed.

“Why are you laughing?” Cain asked, he thinks that Lan is laughing at him. Cain looked at Lan and noticed something odd. ‘Why does he look so familiar’ Cain thought.

“HAHA! looking at your silly face makes me laugh” Lan said while trying not to laugh.

“Wait! you... you!” Cain can not say any word as he finally knows who the guy is laughing at him. Lan raised his hand and warned Cain to be quiet.

“Zeze?” Cain asked Lan or you could say Blaize in a small voice that no one could hear. “Yeah? keep it a secret for a while” Blaize said.

While Cain and Blaize are talking to each other the teacher came in.

"Class takes your seat," the teacher said "class we will have a pop quiz" the teacher added. The student became noisy.

Cain, who was talking to Blaize, stopped and looked at the teacher in front. ‘Such a merciless teacher, she just walked in the classroom and there you go we have a quiz’ Cain thought and he looked at Blaize.

Cain who was rummaging through his bag to find his ballpen noticed that his ballpen was gone. He looked at Blaize “do you have an extra ballpen? I think I dropped my ballpen somewhere”.

“I don’t have any extra,” Blaize said looking at Cain, “the person who picked your ballpen was so lucky,” he added. Cain ballpen is expensive, as he was a son of a rich family.

Cain looked frustrated, then he saw Ember. "Ember can I borrow a ballpen? I think I dropped my ballpen somewhere and I couldn’t find it..." Cain asked Ember pitifully.

"Sure" Ember gave her extra ballpen to Cain. Cain looked at Blaize and smiled while showing off the ballpen Ember lend.

“ So childish!” Blaize said while glaring at Cain...

"If he's here... for sure he would fail it on purpose" Ember whispered to herself.

"Pass the paper at the back," the teacher said...

Bleu passed the paper to Ember while smiling so sweetly at her. Ember got a goosebump. they didn’t notice the guy next to Ember looking at them and have a dark aura around him.

“Hahaha! they didn’t notice you while they were flirting, poor you!” Cain said he noticed Blaize looking at Ember and Bleu.

At the same time, Ember noticed that something was wrong. ‘Bleu is acting weird, he's not like that, I have a bad feeling about this... Maybe Luna was right, Bleu is courting me. But why? maybe I am overthinking’ Ember thought to herself.

Several minutes later. The class finished the quiz and the teacher also finished checking it. "Class I will now distribute the paper, I have finished recording your scores," the teacher said...

"Ummm... how's your score?" Bleu asks, looking at Ember. Bleu doesn't care about the grades of Ember, he just wants to talk to her.

"I got a perfect" Ember answered Bleu without noticing the true goal of him. "Me too!" He smiled once again.

"You Lan what is your score?" Ember asked Blaize she didn't know that Blaize was looking at her the whole time.

“Hmm? nothing amazing” Blaize answer, he also got a perfect score, he heard Ember about him purposely manipulating his score.

"For sure Lan will get a high score... well he heard you that’s why" Cain teases Blaize while butting in the conversation with Ember and Blaize.

Ember was a bit confused by what Cain said. Cain just smiled “Since no one is asking me I will just say mine...I got perfect too! Lan Congratulate me!” Cain said playfully.

“HAHAHA! you are so funny Cain,” Ember said while laughing.

It is the end of the class for today. Luna went to Ember but did not speak anything. Ember was kind of curious why Luna kept looking at me.

"Let's go have fun," Luna said, she was smiling at Ember as if she was plotting something bad.

"HUH?" Ember was shocked, looking at Luna. "I ask Cain and Bleu they agreed," Luna said "let's go-to karaoke"

"Okay, let me ask permission first,” Ember said while smiling.

Ember called her mom to inform her that she was going to Karaoke Place. Ember always informs her parents if she is going somewhere. She doesn't want to worry her parents, just like in the past.

After asking for permission from her parents, Ember saw Blaize planning to go home. “Lan!” she called, Blaize looked at her with a confused look. “Would you like to go with us? We are planning to go to the Karaoke,” Ember asked while smiling.

Blaize looked at her “I can’t... sorry” he answered looking sad. Blaize was planning to go home immediately as he had a business meeting through a video call. After the meeting, he promised Ember’s mother that he would visit them and eat with them later for dinner.

"It's fine... then next time," Ember said, she was a bit disappointed. Blaize looked at her and nodded, and walked away.

Luna is waiting for Ember, Bleu, and Cain to finish fixing their things. She was excited to go to Karaoke with Ember because hanging out with Ember does not always happen.

A few minutes later Cain already finished fixing his thing. He went towards Luna who is so very excited that she wants to grab Ember and run.

The Karaoke place is near the school, students just walk to reach it.

"EMBER! Let’s GO AND HAVE PARTY!" Luna said with excitement... "Wait, I will just fix my things," Ember said, with a panic.

Ember immediately went to her desk and got her things. Luna saw Ember get the Lavender rose under her desk "Is that a rose?" Luna asked, she was shocked to see that there is a rose under Ember’s desk.

"Yeah," Ember said with a smile, she remembered the guy who always gave her this kind of rose. she also remembers that he promises to give her this rose every day”

"Lavender rose?" Cain said he also saw Ember get the rose under her desk. Ember nodded at him.
