Episode 5 - The Siren of Snow Valley I

The day after she wake up, the empress decided to visit her. She welcomed her like nothing happened. Though for sure the betrayal she felt was strong, but still there is this part in her, the old self, that understands the entire situation as a normal happening. She was tended by the empress after she miraculously wakes up, according to them.

And in the kingdom of Xi, a day only passed after the princess wakes up, but a lot happened. The 12th prince, the crowned prince, was poisoned, and the culprit was arrested later on. Its Minister Gou, who killed the crowned prince as the investigation finished. Before Minister Gou killed his self, he confessed that behind all those is the 6th princess of the White Central Clan, the one living in the Little Rose Manor.

The emperor indict that the clan of the White Central Clan Gou will be murdered. On the same day, the 6th princess, Princess Aini, was hanged outside the palace to become an example for others. The White Central Clan Gou’s Manors was burned as instructed, many bodies were collected but to Minister Han’s confusion, again for the second time, children cannot be found along with the ladies without a name(position in the harem). “Are you okay now?”

“I heard that you are going to get married to that prince. The Empress is really showing her discomfort on the news. I think she really don’t want you to marry someone from another kingdom. Though, I think it will be a win-win situation for you, you can leave the palace now and live in your own manor to the addition of the strong backing from the other strong kingdom that is showing and giving alliance to us.” He explained but you can still see some worry and discomfort on what would

happen in the future.

“I can’t be with you anymore.” He said with eyes full of sadness.

“Why not?” she said with a high pitch to encourage him.

“You said last time that you want to be with me, even if you’ll only become one of them.” she said without hesitation.

He smiled for a second. But a bitter smile. He knows that he can’t. There is no rule that a princess can have many husband. Only a man can have many wives.

“Are you concern about what they would say about me? Or are you afraid to the Tang’s Clan?” The prince is from a clan in Tang. One of the powerful family in Xi Kingdom.

“Concern is one thing, but being afraid is out of picture. You know that I already erase my presence from the clan’s property. It’s just, there is no rule that a woman can marry many man. We might get killed because of how impudent we could be. I don’t want to bring harm to you.”

She smiled as he looks like a bunny for her right now. She tilted her head and a thought run into her mind.

“Don’t worry, just prepare. You’ll going to be with me. You’ll go out with me also. I promise you that.” She said as she smiles energetically to the confused prince.
