Episode 2

It was a nice weather in the morning, Shane were sending Elaine off to the promising city. Winnie couldn't send her off because she'll be busy every weekend at her familiy's store. But Winnie happens to give Elaine her house contact number on the last day of school that week.

"You've got everything you need with you right?" Shane ask while did the final check on her daughter's belongings before the bus were coming.

"Yes mom. Don't worry, I got it all packed as you told me too." Elaine answered her mother to calm her.

"Okay sweetheart. Now, once you settle there, contact me as soon as possible."

"Okay mom. Will do. The bus is coming now. Take care and don't overwork yourself okay?" Elaine hugging her mother tightly and only let go when the bus stopped in front of them. She hops into the bus and wave her mother goodbye.

"Bye mom!" She said

"Bye Elaine, be good!" Shane wave to her daughter until the bus disappear from her sight. Her heart is full of wishes that Elaine will have a good happy life in the future.

Honk! Honk!

The abruptly stopped and the loud honked sound by the bus wakes Elaine from her sleep. She fell asleep in the bus after changing to the second bus with new route to the city.

Elaine look at her surroundings, she realizes that she had reached to a busy living city. The noisy sound around her kind of irritate her but like it or not she has to adapt to the situation.

From her seat, she can hear the bus driver was angrily shouting at someone outside the bus. Curiosity made Elaine stand up to see who was outside the bus that driver angry about. From there, she saw a guy with dark blue jeans, red color shirt and a bit messy black hair ignoring the driver bus with expressionless face and walk away without looking but in front of him.

'What a weird looking guy.'

Elaine thought to herself. But she was kind of interested to know what was the guy thinking about for ignoring the driver shouts.

'Nah! Forget about that. I need to find a place near school to stay. And I should get a part time job too, don't want to trouble mom with any extra payment later.'

She taught again while take off from the bus as it reached the last stop at the city bus terminal. From the terminal, she was riding another bus to another town around 20 minutes from the main city town.

Elaine walk pass through a few shops building and finally see her new schools building. She was fascinated by the school surrounding from outside to inside the school. It is an elite school as what her mother told her. Suddenly she felt weird in her stomach. She feel a little nervous when thinking the next two day she will start attending classes in this prestigious school. She hope everything will be fine.

"This is the only place we have according to your budget Miss Elaine. The building is a bit old but still in good condition, and its location are near to school and variation of shops." Mr Shin, the staff at the place renting company explain the details to Elaine.

"I'll take it." Elaine replying to the staff. She cannot be too demanding at the moment. Having a place with a strategic location is a must for her. And its only temporary living place for her anyway.

"Alright Miss Elaine. I'm going to need you to sign this few copies of documents and after settling deposit payment for renting then I will hand over the keys to you." Said Mr Shin.

"Okay, thank you very much Mr Shin." Elaine shakes his hand after receiving a copies of document and the keys to a small studio unit.

Elaine walking to her renting place, after 10 minutes walking she finally arrived at the 3-storeys old building by referring according to the address given by Mr Shin. It is quite old but look sturdy. Without wasting anymore time, Elaine climb up the stairs to a first floor and searching for unit number 105. Only four unit for each floor of the building.

"Cough! Cough!"

As soon as the door open, dust were spreading out. Elaine enters the unit looking around while putting her belongings on one spot.

'This will take a while to clean up'

Elaine thoughts come again. And she did not waste anymore of her time. She starting right away cleaning the whole unit. It is only around 200 square feet. So its only take her an hours to clean up every corner of the place.

After she finish cleaning the room and organizing her things, she got hungry and realized that she never eat anything after arriving at the city.

"Too tired to cook a perfect dish now. I'll just go to inconvenient stores and buy some instant noodles." She speaks to herself and quickly get up and walking toward the front door.

When she got out from her place, she see someone were just entering the unit beside her. And to her shock, that is the guy with a messy hair she saw when she still inside the bus before. Is this just coincidence?
