Who’S Mary??
...One day a family named Wilthersmiths moved into this house in the town of Newswarland, The Wilthersmiths had a daughter named Mary. Mary Wilthersmith was in the 6th grade and she was homeschooled because whenever Mary was around People she would start to have a panic attack. It got so bad one year that her parents decided to home-school her. Mary loved to play with her parents because she had no friends to play with, but ever since Mary and family moved to this big house, her parents haven’t been able to play with her, but one day when Mary’s parents are at work and her babysitter is sleeping on the couch not paying attention to her. Mary decides to go on an adventure through the house, and as she's adventuring through the house Mary goes down this hallway and at the end are the stairs that lead to another part of the house that she hasn’t been to yet. Mary's parents told her to stay away from that part of the house because they haven’t been to that part of the house yet and they don’t know if it’s safe, but when Mary goes up the steps and sees the attic door open, Mary wondering why the attic door was just open, but she just brushes it off and goes up the stairs to see what's up there. When she reaches the attic the lights are on and they’re leading to something, so Mary looks to see what it leads to and she sees a chest, Mary walks to the chest when she opens it she finds nothing but a book that says *DO NOT OPEN DON'T OPEN DON'T OPEN I'M WARNING YOU YOU’LL REGRET IT* . But Mary doesn't seem to care because she’s just really curious about the book and why it’s in their attic; she opens it. And she starts to read , but there was this one word, this one name that she wasn’t supposed to read, this name you’re NEVER EVER supposed to say…. Out Loud. When Mary reads the name, Nicolas Nicolas Nicolas, Mary says. A sudden wind in the attic starts to blow and it blows out the lights. Mary got so scared that she dropped the book and ran out of the attic and straight to her room underneath her cover because she was so scared. When mary left the attic she dropped the book and the book started to turn to pages really say but then it suddenly stops on this page and it reads *Don’t Play With Him* - * Don't Look At Him*. Mary stayed under her cover until her parents got home. Mary could hear the front door open, it was her parents Mr. and Mrs. Wiltersmiths, her parents finally came home with good news to tell Mary they started to call her name. Mary, Mary please come here we have good news to tell you, Said Mary’s Mother Kate Wilthersmith. Mary hears her mother's voice so she races downstairs to see her parents, but something was different, Mary's parents couldn’t see or hear her but she didn’t know that, But she could hear and see her parents so Mary started to cry and ran back to her room undercover. Until hears a voice saying Why are you crying, wanna play? Mary lifts the cover-up slowly to see who's talking and it's a little boy not much older than her sitting on the floor playing with legos. Mary gets up and walks to the boy, she asks the boy how he got in here and the boy replies with, I’ve always been here, you just didn’t know I was there. Mary asks the boy what his name is, He says My name is Nicolas. Mary thinks to herself the name from the book, Mary says, As the name in the book in the atta-, before Mary could finish her sentence, Nicholas cuts her off and says, let’s not talk about THAT book, let’s just play. Now, remember the book said not to play with him and she already broke both of the rules. She looked at Nicolas and now she’s playing with him. As they’re playing Mary gets curious as to why they can’t talk about the book. Mary asks Nicolas about the book again and Nicholas gets angry and things start flying all over the place. Mary gets scared but she tries to calm Nicolas down but nothing worked, Nicolas says, DIDN'T I SAY NOT TO TALK ABOUT THE BOOK. Mary yells and closes her eyes, then Nicolas disappears. Mary Opens her eyes and her room is a mess and Nicolas is no longer there But then Mary hears a knock on her bedroom door, the door slowly opens, Mary looks at the door and sees a girl with a half cut off head and she carrying a doll in her hand, Mary gets scared and goes under her bed before she could get fully under the bed another girl with one eye and no skin on her body crawls from under the bed. They both start to repeat the same thing over and over again. WHAT’S WRONG WHY ARE YOU CRYING, at the same time WHAT’S WRONG WHY ARE ARE YOU CRYING, WHAT’S WRONG WHY ARE YOU CRYING, it’s getting louder every time they repeat it. Mary goes to her bed and hides under her cover and they try to take the cover off her but Mary’s holding on for dear life she’s scared and she’s calling out for help. Next, you know it Mary jumps up screaming and crying her mom rushes to the room and asks her what’s wrong and why she’s crying. Mary stops crying cause she hears her mom's voice and she thought to herself it was just a dream, until who she thought was her mom said, what’s wrong why won’t you play with me anymore, Mary jumps from the monsters arms and all she sees is a woman with a melting face and glowing eyes. Once again Mary jumps from her sleep crying and screaming her mom rushes to the room asking her if everything is ok and if she’s alright. What’s wrong Mary, why are you crying, it’s okay come here mommy’s here now, Mary’s mother said, and as Kate Wiltersmith goes to hug Mary can tell it’s her mom this time. She can feel her mother’s warmth and the love she has for Mary. Mary stops screaming but continues to cry, then Mary goes to say, Mother, we have to leave we can’t stay in this house, Mary kept on rambling on about leaving the house and how they have to leave right now, her mother couldn’t even get a word across. So Kate decides to pack things that are necessary for Mary and goes to wake Mr.Wiltersmith up and tell him to pack his things, they’re going to stay in a hotel for the night until Mary calms down, so Mr.Wiltersmith gets up and packs his things. When they get in the car and get ready to leave Mary looks back at the house and sees Three little kids standing on the front porch, It’s Nicholas and those two girls, they are waving. And as they pulled off. Nicholas' mouth something to Mary, Nicholas mouths the words, “ Let’s Play Again Some Time”, Mary could tell what he said. She turned around in the car and started crying again. The Wiltersmiths Leave the house never to return after they hear the story Mary told them. Of course, they didn’t believe her, I mean why would they believe a 11-year-old, but they moved out of the house because they wanted her to feel safe in her own home so they moved far far away from that town. But Mary will never forget what happened in that house even until this day she gets nightmares about what happened and that boy who shall not be named....
