Jonah goes over to her.

Jonah : Hey !!!!

She gets startled. The girl is none other than Lucy.

Lucy ( sobbing ) : Who are you ?

Jonah ( forwards his hand ) : I am Jonah. And you ?

Lucy ( almost choking ) : Lu...Lucy.

She shakes hand with him.

Jonah : Girls don't look beautiful when they cry.

Lucy ( angrily ) : You mean I am ugly ?

Jonah : No...no...I did not mean that.....

Lucy bursts into laughter.

Lucy ( smiles ) : I was just joking.

Jonah smiles.

Jonah : Tell me why were you crying ?

Lucy : I was rejected by a company because I missed the interview as I was late.

Jonah : Is this the only reason ?

Lucy : I miss my mom. When she was alive.....(tears up again )

Jonah : Okay stop. You don't need to talk about that. And you should accept both good and bad that life offers you. Life should be enjoyed just as it is. There will be many company who can hire you. And about your mom. Would you like her to see you crying like this ? If she had seen you like this she would have been so upset. So stop crying now.

Lucy wipes her tears and smiles at Jonah.

Jonah ( smiles ) : Thats my girl. ( flirting )You look so beautiful when you smile.

Lucy ( laughs ) : Why are you flirting at such a time ?

Jonah : Flirting is my pride as well as hobby.

Lucy laughs.

Jonah ( confused ) : Why are you laughing ?

Lucy : You are so funny.

Lucy gets a message from Cartos Company.

Lucy ( squeals in delight ) : Yayyyyy......I got accepted into Cartos Company.

Jonah : See , I told you.......( suddenly realizes ) What ? Wait ! Cartos Company ?! Show me the message.

She shows him the message.

Jonah ( in mind ) : Oh ! So , she is Lucy. I need to find out more about her. ( to Lucy ) What about coffee ?

Lucy ( hesitant ) : Umm...

Jonah ( interrupting ) : Please don't say 'no'. Its just a coffee.

Lucy ( cutely ) : Your treat ?

Jonah ( laughs ) : Yes , my treat.

Lucy : Okay. Lets go. There is a cafe nearby. We can walk till there.

At the Cafe

Jonah : What would you like to order ?

Lucy : Umm.....I want a cappucino.

Jonah : Waiter , please bring a cappucino and a strawberry milk tea.

Waiter nods and goes.

Lucy feels a sudden pain in her head. She holds her head. She gets a blur image of something in her head.

Jonah : What happened ?

Lucy : Nothing. Just a headache.

Jonah : Don't forget to take the medicine then.

Their order arrives. While sipping their coffee and tea.......

Jonah : By the way.......are you adopted Lucy ?

Lucy : No. Why ?

Jonah : Nothing. Just asked like that.

Lucy : Actually.........my father told me I had met with an accident when I was in middle school which caused me a memory loss. I don't remember most of the things. I am telling this to you only. Its a secret. Don't tell it to anyone.

Jonah : Okay , I won't tell it to anyone.

Lucy : Thanks for today.

Jonah : Don't mention it.

Jonah suddenly spots a familiar figure.

Jonah ( in mind ) : What is James doing here ? Is he stalking us ? ( to Lucy ) I need to go.

Lucy : Your car ?

Jonah : I will take care of it.

Jonah goes outside and James follows him.

Jonah ( playfully ) : Why are you stalking me bro ?

James : I think you should give me an explanation.

Jonah : My car broke down. I met her. We just talked and I asked her out for a coffee. Thats it.

James : What were you talking about then ?

Jonah : Some random stuffs.

James ( in mind ) : He is lying for sure. I will find out about it.

Jonah ( in mind ) : Why is he asking me a lot of question ? It is weird. You are hiding something from me bro. I have to find it out.
