Chapter - 3
Maid Dawn
Good morning, my lady.
Maid Dawn
His Lordship, would like you to join him in the dinning room.
Josephine Roosevelt
Help me, get dressed.
Josephine Roosevelt
Good morning, Father and brothers.
Frederick Roosevelt
Good morning, Josey.
Rowan Roosevelt
Hope you slept well?
Rowan Roosevelt
Are you excited about the coronation ceremony?
Hale Roosevelt
Why wouldn't she be?
Hale Roosevelt
Her beloved Leopold will be there.
Josephine Roosevelt
Looking foward to it.
In the story the original Josephine attended the coronation ceremony of the new king, with Leopold.
The night was going well, until Josephine got in a argument with a noblewoman over Leopold.
And the new king of course wasn't too pleased about his event being ruined. And so his first order as king was to confined Josephine in a solitary room, until the event was over.
Hale Roosevelt
I can't believe he became our new king.
Oliver Roosevelt
And he's the same age as Rowan.
Hale Roosevelt
But I thought he needed to be married in order to become king.
Frederick Roosevelt
That is the requirement but, due to the late king' s passing, he was the next choice.
Oliver Roosevelt
But he'll still need to be married to maintain his position.
Frederick Roosevelt
There will be a candidate selection, whereby all the eligible young ladies that are of age will participate.
Hale Roosevelt
That will include Josey as well.
Oliver Roosevelt
She is of age.
Josephine Roosevelt
Huh!!!
Frederick Roosevelt
Yes, even Josey.
Rowan Roosevelt
But since it's a requirement, won't his majesty just choose someone who's best suited for the position of queen?
Frederick Roosevelt
Thats the best approach.
Frederick Roosevelt
But he'll have to decide who's qualified.
Frederick Roosevelt
Oh... dear...
Frederick Roosevelt
Is there something you would like to say Josey?
Josephine Roosevelt
If by any chance one of the ladies refuse to participate in the candidate selection?
Frederick Roosevelt
Then that would be considered as an act of treason.
Rowan Roosevelt
Josey aren't you supposed to attend Lady Frey's tea party?
Hale Roosevelt
Lady Alicia Frey.
Hale Roosevelt
Count Frey's daughter.
Hale Roosevelt
You accepted her invitation a week ago.
Josephine Roosevelt
Oh... yes.
Josephine Roosevelt
I forgot that was today.
Josephine Roosevelt
Thank you for reminding me.
Josephine Roosevelt
I should get going.
I left after finishing breakfast.
I reached at lady Frey's residence.
From what I read about lady Frey's, she's the only daughter of Count Frey and is known to be very beautiful, but has a frail body.
Butler.
Welcoming Lady Josephine Roosevelt, Daughter of Viscount Roosevelt.
Alice Frey
Welcome Lady Roosevelt, it's a pleasure to have you attend my tea party.
Josephine Roosevelt
Thank you.
Lillian Laurent
Come on, Alicia.
Lillian Laurent
Everyone's waiting.
Alice Frey
Please join, us.
Josephine Roosevelt
Alright.
Alice Frey
Please sit, where you feel comfortable.
Josephine Roosevelt
Thank you.
Alice Frey
I thank you all for attending my tea party.
Lillian Laurent
You did a great job preparing everything.
Josephine Roosevelt
I agree.
Josephine Roosevelt
The tea tastes lovely.
Even though I was invited to the tea party, I can tell some of the ladies here aren't too pleased.
Alice Frey
Um... lady Josephine, I heard you collapsed and was in bed for a few days.
Alice Frey
Are you feeling better?
Lillian Laurent
So I overheard my father and mother talking about the queen selection.
Lillian Laurent
And I'm one of the eligible ladies.
Alice Frey
My parents were discussing it too.
Alice Frey
I, too, am to participate.
Lillian Laurent
What of you lady, Roosevelt?
Josephine Roosevelt
I'm not too sure.
