THE

EFFECTS

PROLOGUE

It started the night after I got vaccinated. I felt a big urge to do something

that I can’t even imagine. The feeling of being controlled, you can feel dizziness

and somewhat you have fever. I take medicines to ease the pain. The next day, I

started to feel a strange urge like, somehow, I want to kill someone. I want to feel

how does it like to have a person begging on their knees because they wanted

you to spare their lives. I want to see a bloody color caused by their blood. I

kept telling to myself not to do it. Yet, it still happened.

Kiesha: “Good morning, hon” (greet her husband and kisses his lips)

Timothy: “Good morning, baby” (responds to her)

Timothy and Kiesha are a newly married couple. They just got married on December  7,

2020.

While eating their breakfast…

Timothy: “Did you get your jab last week?”

Kiesha: “ahmmm, yeah. Why?”

Timothy: “Was it painful when the doctor inject you with a needle?”

Kiesha:(laughs so hard) Wait… A..are you telling me you're scared of a small needle?”(continue laughing)

Timonthy: "Well,, Yeah a bit."

Kiesha: "(LAUGHS EVEN HARDER) A grown up man like you should’ve afraid of a tiny needle."

Timothy :"But I am. (with a childish voice)"

(They BOTH laugh at the kitchen counter)

THE DAY

OF TIMOTHY’S VACCINATION

(WALKING

TO THE HEALTH FACILITY NERVOUSLY)

 (FILLING UP THE FORMS GOT SCREENING, HAVING

ORIENTATION AND FINALLY INJECTED BY HIS FIRST DOSE)

Timothy: (calling his wife)

Kiesha: (picks up the phone)“ hey hon, are you done there?”

Timothy: “Yeah… and I think you better pick me up here, my one arm was not feeling

good.”

Kiesha: (laughs) “as expected to YOU, HAHAHA. I will be there in a minute, okay?”

Timothy: “alright, bye. “

(hangs up

the call)

At home…

Timothy: (lying in the couch)

Kiesha : (checking timothy) “GOD! HON.  You

should take a medicine, your fever is high.”

Timothy: (just nods as a sign that he approved)

Kiesha: (give his medicine) “Take a rest then when you need anything just call me,

okay?  “I still need to get things done at the office.”

Timothy: “noted.”

Kiesha: “I also listed the things that might help you, okay, hon?”

Timothy: “Copy

that, baby”

At the office, Kiesha is very worried. She did her best to manage the things as

early as possible.

(Her phone rings)

Kiesha: “Yes,hello, Madam Kate?”

Manager: “oh hello Kiesha, are you almost done to your task?”

Kiesha: “Ahmmm…Yes madam.”

Manager: “Sorry to ask but can you do me a favor?”

Kiesha: “ahmm..Yeah, sure” (she lied)

Manager:“ well, today, I'm supposedly having a meeting with our President. Can you go

there, for me? I’m not really feeling well today.”

Kiesha:“ Alright madam, will you send me the address together with the details?”

Manager:“ okay… Thank you so much, Kiesh.”

(Call ended)

While Kiesha in the meeting, her husband at home were very sick.
