I'll never find who I lost

"Please tell me you've seen her!". A boy in his youth was walking around his neighborhood asking everyone about a girl. On a piece of paper which he held, it had the girl's name, age and physical details. At the top of the paper, it stated: LOST GIRL. But she was missing for 10 years and she was never found. No matter how hard the boy tried, he could'nt find her either. Though, why did'nt he lose his hope to at least see her once again? "Why...can't I leave her?... I should give up-but I can't!...I love her, and I promised myself that if she ever goes missing.....I'd force myself to go after her!". There you go, this boy loved a girl who's been missing for 10 years. He was'nt some stalker who knew everything about that girl just becasue of 'research'. He and the girl were childhood friends ever since they could talk. But it was'nt like they were ever in a relationship. 10 years ago the day before the girl went missing, she confessed to the boy.

"I...just wanted to say...t-that we knew each other for a long time...So...H-how could'nt I fall...for you?". The girl held the boy's hand while saying that to him. Yet, the boy himself did'nt know what she meant. "What...?" was all he managed to say. "Y-you dummy! I'm telling you-I love you!".The girl kicked at him for not understanding. She threw herself in his arms partly crying. And the boy, in shock, stood there doing nothing. "Why? I thought we'd only be friends" he replied. The girl, already a bit frustrated, stared at the boy, then the ground. She let go of him while turning and said "If that's your anwser... I'm sorry for my misunderstanding". All the boy felt was a terriable feeling in his heart. The girl did'nt visit him after that day, and the boy thought he was expected to wait for her. "She'll get over it..." he reassured himself. He waited for her for days, which slowly turned into weeks, that combined into months, and sooner or later, years. The boy then realized he did love the girl after she disappered. "Mom...was right...'You never know when you love someone untill they walk the oppsite direction of you'...that must mean she'll never come back...I have to find her myself" he'd mumble. In his journal, the only topic he wrote about was how much regret he had after turning down the girl. Half of the journal was filled with: I LOVE YOU, I'M SORRY. And one day, if he ever found her, he'd give that to her. "This pain in my heart, is this the feeling of loss? This seems to hurt more than being stabbed... Maybe when I'm old enough, I'll travel this world to find you. I promise I will".
