The beginning, or the end?

           Chapter 1

[ Main character: Aiden

Zion(Zi) : Aiden's younger brother

Lisanna(Lis) : Aiden's Mother

Adam : Aiden's Father ]

-It was almost sunrise, A beginning of a new day, a new life…… And of course the end of one too.

-Our life wasn't like this, yes it wasn't a perfect one, but it wasn't hellish like now. Like any cliche story, Let me explain how I got here ( MC explaining his back story )

(2025, Dec 7) - place(City A)

(Birthday wishes, and clapping )

➡️Lis: make a wish dear, it is your bday

➡️Adam:yeh go ahead champ

➡️Zion:make a wish big brother

(The 5-year-old Aiden gives us a cute smile, and blows the candle)

➡️Mom: what did you wish Aiden?

➡️mc:I wish that Zion and I can play together soon(gives an innocent face)

-Lis and Adam tears up, Adam is trying to say something but due to his sadness he stammers a bit, then suddenly Zion smiles and says

➡️Zion: when I become as big as my brother I will play with you…

(Lis can't hold her tears anymore, she cries, tears run down fast... his tears and with a tear covered face smiles and says)

➡️Adam:look at my little boys, All grown up!!right mamma?

(Lis suddenly realized that both her children are staring at her face, wondering why she was sad, she suddenly wipes her tears and replies with a smile)

➡️Lis:That's right! I am so happy that I couldn't control my tears*

(Aiden nods his head, and with excitement says)

➡️Aiden:come on Zion let's eat some cake

➡️brother: yeah Cake!! zion wants cake too….

(The family  enjoys their time together, but suddenly a siren blows with an announcement)

Announcement:citizens of City A please evacuate immediately, unknown creatures are said to be emerging from the portal in City A. So all citizens are ordered to evacuate to the safe zone in City C. This is not a mock drill. I repeat this is not a mock drill…..

(Adam and lis is shocked, they start to get panicked, adam knew his wife wasn't strong-minded and he had to man up, he mustered some courage )

➡️Adam: lis… let's pack up the bag, take what's necessary, Don't overdo it, let's keep our calm. (he then turns to his kids)-Denny, zi we are going for the trip, Denny watch your brother mamma and dad are going to pack your clothes and stuff

(Lis nods her head and rushes to pack things up)

➡️Aiden:Now?? Yeah….!!( he is happy, he thinks that it's part of his bday celebration.)

➡️zion: where are we going, dad?

➡️Adam: To (city name) city

➡️zion:okay..(excited )

(Aiden & Zion talk and laugh while their parents are busy packing, after finishing packing they are ready to set off, Adam realizes lis is still scared and she is just hanging on... Realizing the situation adam acts calm and collected )

➡️Adam:Hey lis... Take the children and get in the cab I will take care of the luggage

(Lis and the kids go to the car, zion is in his wheelchair she takes him out of his wheelchair and buckles him upon the car. Aiden realized his mom his out of mood)

➡️Aiden:Mom you look sad (with an innocent face)

(Lis can't reply to that she hugs him and bursts into tears)

➡️Aiden/zion: Don't cry, momma

(Meanwhile, Adam is transporting the luggage, his thinking in his mind )

➡️Adam:(What the heck is happening??!! Unknown creatures? Seriously? Shit... My instincts tell me this is bad! And Lis she isn't doing well either... Well, how can I blame her?

She lost her best friend lucy in that portal. We are both orphans so the only family we have is our friends…

Anyway, what the hell is that thing? It appeared about 6 months ago, No one couldn't find out what it was, so a scout team was assigned to check it out. It was dormant at the time, we got information from the scouts until the communication from them was broke. Their body was found outside the portal after a day. All of them were disfigured badly... Lis couldn't handle seeing her friend lucy like that, she went silent for 3 days)

➡️Adam:tsk..!( clicks his tongue in a weird way to make the sound)

(After the body was found, even though the government knew it would bring about panic in the citizens they decided to make the news public)

(News channel plays on TV adam, lis and the kids are shown as watching TV. (Flashback))

➡️TV- The unknown portal that opened in (city name)city has been recognized as a portal to another planet, signs of living beings are shown on the other side of the portal. Even though the portal is still dormant, The citizens must be on high alert all the time. A safe zone is being prepared on (city name) city. Scientists say that there is no reason to panic and the situation is under control.

(Adam comes back to the present)

➡️Adam: (People all started to talk about many things, the world will end, they are just friendly visitors.. etc., etc. and they refer portal by many names, and one name became accepted by most of the people due to the fear that they felt deep inside. That aside why is the portal here? And that too at all of the places in the world why here? what are the creatures? What do they want??.. Just what is that "Gateway of hell"?)
