Mr. Nerd

Next day in chemistry class...

I was waiting for Mrs. Nicole to ask the question so that I can look behind and find Mr.Nerd .I didn't know his name and also didn't know how he looked. But I knew his voice.

Mrs.Nicole asked the question and students who wanted to answer raised their hand.

She gave chance to two-three students but they failed to give the answer.

Luckily she didn't ask me to answer this time. What a lucky day for me. I smiled at the thought.

"Troy, I know ..only you can answer." She said,smiling at him.

I was waiting for this moment. I looked behind and saw him. To my surprise, even he looked at me. I immediately looked in the front to avoid awkward situation. Shit!!

I panicked. I took a long breath to calm myself. Wow.That was quick.

I couldn't see his face properly but I managed to see that he wore glasses and had fair complexion.

"His name is Troy but I think Mr. Nerd suits him perfectly."I thought.

After the lecture ,I rushed out of the classroom but I couldn't find him.

"Were you planning to leave me behind Ash?" Remi stared at me, waiting for my explanation.

" No no. How can I dare?" I said mockingly.

" Ash..I feel like a useless person. I coudn't answer a simple question today . And that guy in the last row is so annoying!" Remi sounded pretty annoyed. I was like..LOL. "I'm not only the one who is affected by this.." I thought and laughed at her.

I dropped Remi at her place and headed towards mine.

I started to read what Mrs. Nicole taught in the class. "This is soo boring!!! I am sleepy! How am I going to learn this!? If this continues ..I might fail in final exam. I envy you Troy! oops.. no not troy. It's Mr. Nerd." I tried to study and gave up after sometime. It was difficult for me to memorize the notes. Initially it was easy but now it's very complex.

One week passed.It was the beginning of rainy season. I attended lectures regularly. I neither saw him nor heard his name from Mrs. Nicole during lecture. Now his friend answered most of the questions. I was curious to know about his absence but couldn't ask anyone about it . "Anyways, I am happy about it. No more annoying lectures." I thought . I decided to focus more on lecture and less on that nerd.

It was my birthday week. I was super excited for my special day as Remi was going to plan a surprise party for me. She was more excited than me and that made me happy. We went shopping and it was fun. It was really hard to recover from painfull breakup but I did it. Though,I missed my ex sometimes . I was enjoying my life now. Thanks to my new best friend Remi.
